Judge was on his last nerve with Lori and the trial has not even started yet. THEY are trying to help her by not combining the two trials. Lori argues with the judge/prosecutor that not combining trials interferes with her right to a speedy trial. Like, lady, if the jury hears about your other...
FWIW, when the facts come out, I've learned: I was wayyyy off with some of my initial theories.
Namely, I was very critical of the 3 adult children *not calling* Gene. However, since it's now known the Gene had advanced Alzheimer's, calling Gene wouldn't have really been calling Gene, if that...
I thought they did such a good job! And I am one to go for conspiracy theories (sometimes), but in this case, I don't see it. Thanks to @tomstrees, some of us had already been theorizing about hantavirus since Wednesday morning, before they even announced Friday's press conference with the NM...
I do sometimes believe in coverups, but not in this case 😂
It would be so easy to look up the evidence, "Betsy tested positive for hantavirus." however. conspiracy theories generate more clicks, so....
It's really too bad b/c I feel like the medical examiner, et.all, did a good job. now...
This is a good point. The chances of us finding out exactly what Betsy did to expose herself to hantavirus (aka, fairly fresh rodent droppings that contained the virus) are slim to none at this point. I like the theory - suggested by other websleuths - that perhaps she was getting her dog's...
It sounds like (from Youtube video of woman who contracted hantavirus, and survived), she only needs to come into contact with the droppings. This woman who survived hantavirus only retrieved her cat bowls from a mouse-dropping-infested chicken coop. she wasn't even cleaning them up, but she...
I actually looked up how many Hantavirus cases in Alberta, Canada
"From 2014 to 2018, 16 cases of hantavirus were confirmed in Alberta residents. Of those cases, one was fatal. There have been two cases of hantavirus confirmed in Alberta this year." (article written in in June, 2019) more cases...
@tomstrees was the first person to mention hantavirus!! (at least, that I saw). It was Thread #2, post #911 on Wednesday. And then several of us responded. I responded post #915.
So, I'll give credit where credit was due, it was @tomstrees
I did make another post about it this morning, but...
I know, right? I worked as a caregiver for Alzheimer's (in-home care) patients - I *never* felt comfortable leaving them. and IIRC correctly, I never did.
however, family members were like, 'Hey, if you want to take a break, leave for an hour or two." Like, just leave the patient unattended...
TBH, I can't take credit for it though. 😂 Someone else on this thread (either #1 or thread #2) suggested it first, IIRC. I think it was @MsEmmaPeel? It was really just my 3rd choice. I thought BA died first, but I wasn't sure of what. 1. Thyroid issue, she was reaching for her meds, got dizzy...
