I work in cytogenetics, and I wouldn't be surprised if this individual had mosaic Turner syndrome (some XY cells, some with only one X chromosome). People with mosaic XY Turner are usually shorter than average and have a wide variety of phenotypes- They can appear as female, male, or in between...

If he was a migrant he could have died from exposure/hyperthermia as well. If he was murdered, I doubt his murderer was the same person who put his skull in the bag- The fact it's JUST a skull (and no mandible, neck vertebrae etc) indicates that his remains were very decomposed, if not entirely...

There could have been a financial barrier here (insurance often won't approve 100% of the cost of a wheelchair) or it could be due to a lack of medical care. Autism is a HUGE spectrum and some people have very mild/subtle communication issues. Most people wouldn't know I was autistic if they only had a short conversation with me, for instance. Could be a similar situation with this girl.

I also find it very strange that a photograph of the mother has been publicly released but her name is being withheld. If it's a HIPAA related thing, her face shouldn't be released either.
