Spending of mayonnaise, I have always like the mayo that Five Guys uses. I looked into it and found out it is a unique recipe made by Heinz strictly for Five Guys. It is think and creamy and is perfect on their burgers and Cajun fries.

I grew up in Ohio (the Buckeye State) so I am very familiar with Buckeye candy. I always say that the first recipe young girls in Ohio learn to make is Buckeyes. Every bake sale or get together will have Buckeyes available.

I don’t eat candy bars often but Reese’s have always been my favorite. I bought some Reese’s hearts a few weeks ago and thought they tasted different. Not very good. https://people.com/reeses-inventor-grandson-says-its-new-candy-is-not-edible-11910229 Brad's open letter came on Valentine's...

Weather has been bizarre here in central Indiana too. We had a record cold spell with ten days of below zero temperatures. We had a foot of snow in one day. And now it has been 67 degrees today and yesterday. And this evening we had a severe thunderstorm. To cap it all off the tornado alerts...

My daughter hates mayonnaise for the same reason. She cooks with it in some recipes but wouldn’t consider using it on sandwiches.

I have not. I do like to try different products so I’ll have to try Duke too.

I’ve been hearing people talk about Kewpie mayo. It’s popular on some of the cooking sites I visit. I haven’t tried it yet but it is supposed to be creamier and richer. It uses egg yolks instead of whole eggs. I plan to try it sometime out of curiosity. But I don’t want to buy the large...

Sort of off topic, but regarding Miracle Whip and mayonnaise. I once dated a guy who insisted that Blue Bonnet was real butter and Miracle Whip was a brand of mayonnaise. Then we broke up 🤣

My mom used to use Miracle Whip. It is still quite popular here. I always use Hellmann’s.

I usually like to make biscuits and rolls from scratch, but Grands biscuits are decent to use when I am short on time. You can make a pretty good breakfast roll by sticking a Fun Size Milky Way bar in the middle of each biscuit then baking according to the package directions.

The ageism on this thread has really been annoying me. I finally had to say something.

And I would say the young people, I know sleep more odd hours than the older adults. The older adults that I know tend to go to bed and get up around the same time every day, it is the younger ones that sleep odd hours. SMH

I don’t like the generalizations about “old people.” Not all older people “always” get up at night to use the bathroom, nor do all older people sleep odd hours. Some younger people sleep odd hours, or get up at night to use the restroom. Generalizations that say “all” are never accurate and...

I used to work in a clinic where nearly all the staff members were Catholic. Only a few of us were not. I was in charge of ordering lunch every day. That was back in 2001-2007 when drug reps were allowed to provide lunches for doctors, we had 5 doctors in our clinic so we usually had lunch...
