I just read the article that says RDU employees have expressed concerns about security in the Manager's parking lot before; that there are no security cameras there (someone's car was apparently broken into there), and that RDU police patrol the lot but not frequently enough...

If only 10 minutes passed from the time she left work until the time her car left the parking lot, it seems unlikely that someone had time to overpower her, get her car keys, get her in the car, and drive out of the lot. It seems more likely that she drove herself out of the parking lot...

Long-time lurker, sometime poster - I live about 10 minutes from RDU and have been following the story closely. Is it possible she wanted to take a break, & left her phone so she couldn't get tracked? Perhaps she brought her debit card and keys because that's all she needed to bolt. Praying...

Very true, nnglas. I'm in Jacksonville as well and you don't really hear about these things happening.
