At approximately 5:15 p.m. on Dec. 4, Montgomery County officers responded to an area near Shady Grove Road and Procera Drive where someone walking his dog had discovered the remains.

An autopsy will be conducted in an attempt to determine the sex of the decedent, as well as the manner and cause of death. Investigators are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the remains, which were found with a blue sweatshirt, black or green San Antonio Spurs ball cap and blue and white size 11 Asics GEL-Kayano sneakers.
