Do agree he should have never been allowed access to a gun though. If u show up at the FBI and say crazy stuff that should be a red flag right there.

While I believe there should be more help for vets he chose to not get it and do this. Speaks to the "it's never ur fault mentality" that is getting more popular in this country. Never hold anyone responsible for their own actions.

I knew many service members like this. It may have had an impact on him. Does not excuse his behavior though. Nor do I think it was the cause of his behavior.

Then I stand to corrected. I'm going off my experience. U was part of the 7th AS at mcchord AFB. We were deployed in Macedonia in 99 flying refuges to England. Whole unit was awarded ribbons while only 2 planes were deployed there.

No u are right with CAR. Just because ur unit got a ribbon for something does not make it a fact ur squad was involved in that particular event. It's a unit ribbon. Like most are.

I wouldn't be surprised about it being debunked. I'm former air force (load master on C-17's active duty) my experience with guardsmen is they usually are in a support role for active duty. That can mean replenishing man power at active duty bases or in a support role deployed. That being said...
