I agree, but a lot of times families can be in denial. Also, whatever caused the death of the person found in the river may have left them unrecognizable and dna would have to be obtained.

Unfortunately I think that the body found in the river is most likely Jelanie because the river is so close to where his vehicle was abandoned.
