A soft plant like that is not going to be usable as a thin tool to remove the camera. Additionally he has a bundle in his hands that he bends and then we see him place it over the camera, not a single twig to use that way. These doorbell cameras are primarily plastic. A firm elbow could knock it...
Free accounts store up to 3 hours of event footage on the server but if she used a feature like Do Not Disturb on her Apple devices then there would have been no audible notification in the moment and it could have easily gotten lost among numerous other mundane notifications the next morning...
No, because my personal pet theory is that it was never a kidnap for ransom - it was an attack because of NG's political posts online. This would also explain why the video footage seems to show him bumbling and ill equipped to handle basic tasks efficiently (like taking out the doorbell camera).
It makes me think that he didn’t understand how the cameras worked, thinking that if he destroyed or disposed of them then it would destroy locally stored footage - seemingly unaware that video was stored online.
If you think it’s all local then you’d be less concerned about it capturing you at...
…but there’s nothing to suggest he was truly that organized. Everything we really know about him, could be gleaned from a lot of movies. And he made a lot of mistakes, not anticipating the camera or smartly dealing with it and using the bite light, even if he potentially did others things “right”.
Yes, I agree.
And I’ve never believed that just because Google gives you access to up to three hours of footage on a free plan that it automatically means that’s all that’s on the server.
I saw a discussion somewhere that I think a user had a subscription and let it lapse for a couple of...
No, it has the same stripe across the chest. I believe it’s the same jacket but there are more shadows on it because he is further back from the camera.
If this is true then Google has a heck of a lot more video stored than what’s been suggested or that they even claim to hold if you don’t have a subscription.
I do not know if that’s true in this case though… he seemed bumbling and it appears his outfit and backpack are new. The holster may be new as well and so might the gun. It’s already been noted the holster was not made for that type of gun.
No they aren’t remotely strong enough to be used that way. Look how easily he rips it off the ground too. He was bending it in a shape to cover the lens, not isolating one stem to use as a tool.
That honestly doesn’t make sense given the plant is not firm enough to double as a pry bar, it’s very soft. The doorbell cameras are primarily plastic. One well placed elbow could likely dislodge it.
