This article is about how the Park District and city plan to address safety concerns at Prairie Park - the park where Toni Keller was killed. Nothing new in the article as far as her case goes - I just thought it was interesting...
I can't help but wonder if the silence about the details of this case, is due in part to the strong, strong political influence of NIU. I am sure there is truth to what LE says, when they say that they don't want anything to lead to a mistrial - but I also think it's all hush-hush in part...
I was basing that conclusion on the statement that he ends with, in that video. The question was do you support the death penalty. He goes on to explain all the reasons he doesn't support it and ends with "and therefore...i'm against the death penalty"
Maybe he'll see things differently...
Woe.be.gone it looks like you're right about it being for seniors and disabled families...

I agree JoeFriday, I think it's odd too. If they were suspicious of Curl - why weren't they watching him? It sounds like they tracked him after he didn't show up for the interview using his cell phone and credit card useage and the border crossing. But why weren't they watching him before he...

I can't find it either Cubby. This link of press releases from on the Illinois.gov webpage says that the registry will be available on the Illinois State Fire Marshall website. But i looked there and didn't find it...
do you guys think that when the defense get's their discovery motion filed that more information will be released to the public...or will they keep it all under wraps too?
That's VERY interesting! So the 21st, right? Was he sure it was a body bag? Could it have been just a bag of other evidence? If it was her body, and they found her on the 16th - wonder why they would wait until the 21st to remove it. To catch the killer (curl) coming back to the scene? Or...
yeah JoeFriday, but that was early in October. The 2nd. Are you thinking the person that saw the body bag being taken out of the park is confused on their dates?
When did LE say that Curl led them to remains? I haven't heard that anywhere before. Wow!! And I'm surprised they needed a bodybag from what has been said about the remains. Or do they always use a body bag, even if there isn't much of a body left? Does anyone know?
Is it possible that...
