Victoria is a "no body, no parole" state.
Recently there is has been a campaign for "no body, no release" and that is different and has been opposed so far.
For example, you could be sentenced to 25 years instead of "life". Rather than get parole for good behaviour at the 17 year mark (for...
Also to add, when experiencing hypothermia (exposure) your body will initially divert all attention to vital organs, in particular the heart. This is why quite quickly you can no longer use your body in normal ways. Standing, walking , talking all becomes difficult and in advanced states...
I believe they all took drugs and passed out. Only three of them passed out in near freezing temperatures. I don't necessarily know if they "froze to death" however hypothermia is a very real chance.
I am a landscape photographer and sometimes am very still for long periods in near freezing...
Sorry. Now I see an answer to my own question regarding his line of work. Absolutely I feel like he will not want to disclose possible significant drug use to his employer and thus has put his own welfare ahead of being honest and allowing the three men’s families answers.
TOTALLY my opinion...
To me this all seems like they were participating with drugs. And either took too much, or took bad drugs.
What does JW do for work? I wonder if he was aware but wanted to wait as long as possible, knowing he would probably be subject to tox screening when LE became aware of the deaths. How...
One of the more recent articles shared here suggests she first tried to open the door and when she could not she jumped on the bonnet. There were other articles suggesting she jumped on the bonnet AND tried to open the door, making it sound like she did that whilst on the bonnet, which of course...
I consider SP's mystery illness a red herring, likely a coincidence latched on to by an excited media. Personally I think it will end up not being connected.
But I still find it a stretch to think that one of the guests brought in poisoned food OR EP was set up and yet she still didn't get sick...
Someone asked the question why EP would think she would get away with it…. In my opinion, she will get away with it. An intentional act will be very hard to prove I believe and there will be enough reasonable doubt. Any evidence will be circumstantial.
Accident or not, I personally don’t think...
Except death by DC mushroom is extremely specific and I don’t think that would even be the theory if it were not clear as mud from the presentation of the patients and their subsequent rapid death. To be suggesting it’s some other form of food poisoning seems naive IMO. Surely if it wasn’t there...
I guess the other option is that SP wanted all of them dead, including his ex wife and he set it all up (somehow ensuring the mushrooms would be used) and had arranged for the kids to go to the cinema. Hence why he didn’t show - to protect himself.
However, the poisoning takes long enough...
Have been following this case but have been away travelling so not replying.
I am quite bemused/perplexed by the number of people proposing alternative theories like framing, or the teenagers being responsible for mistaken mushroom identification, or that the deceased getting sick at another...
I wasn't able to quote across threads, but someone said they didn't get the significance on spelling as when you searched FB incorrectly but clicked on a suggested name, the suggested name showed in your history.
That's not correct. I just searched "Sahra Smith" and clicked on "Sandra Smith"...
It’s possible that the victim of upcoming case is a minor and his identity being suppressed is to protect this person. I don’t know I’m just theorising.
But I will say it again - that his name remains suppressed is extraordinarily unusual. I can’t think of any other case where that’s happened...
