CANADA Canada - Jack, 4 & Lilly Sullivan, 6, Vulnerable, wandered from home 10am, Gairloch Rd, Landsdowne Station, Pictou County, NS, 2 May 2025 #7

One of the cadaver dogs handler is a sergeant and other is an inspector, so they may have been within bounds to ask DM questions. Especially if both officers needed as much information as possible. The officer asked what many of us are wondering about: the lack of details about the children...

Most kids have a lunch box with compartments, at least for snacks. I’ve wondered if she or Jack had one and if they found it. I understand their school has a lunch program, but maybe they took drinks and snacks to school regularly.

RBBM That is such a good point. I don’t see them stopping to play with Lilly wearing the backpack. Their mother said she put them to bed the night before, wearing the same clothes they had on during the day. And Lilly went to sleep with that backpack. Maybe she took her blanket out from the...

IMO, they’re likely searching or about to do so. Local weather is warm and clear for the next ten days. Hurricane Humberto (category 3, atm) is winding up to the North Atlantic, but is currently tracking east of us. If he goes towards us he’ll affect us likely on Wednesday or Thursday.

I live in Nova Scotia. I’m familiar with the areas hit especially hard by hurricanes in the last few years.

“Sgt. Dave Whalen and his dog Kitt will join Insp. Luke Rettie and his dog Narc to conduct the searches over the coming days and weeks, RCMP said. Both are based in British Columbia. The two children went missing from this home on Gairloch Road in Lansdowne Station, about 20 kilometres...

I’m aware. Part of my property is forested and I’m now familiar with the Lansdowne area. I believe they have a brief window of calm, dry weather with no hurricanes on the horizon to search safely, imo.

TY That didn’t occur to me that if they were killed that the person or persons involved may interfere with the search. I’m wondering if warrants are involved. We have had cases where the police give a soft warning before executing a warrant. Even if they’re completely not involved in a crime...

I understand wanting to conduct the investigation with the dogs without any public interference—but ‘officer safety concerns’? I don’t understand that (does anyone have any ideas?) We have had incidents here in NS and NB where officers were targeted, but they didn’t mention this during the...

This article says Lilly’s birthday was in March. Months after Nova Scotia children vanished, a clearer picture emerges of their lives before their disappearance I’m guessing Jack’s birthday is close to Halloween based on the birthday cake video, imo.

“Jack Sullivan is described as a male, 3.5 ft in height, 40 lbs with dark blonde hair and hazel eyes. At the time of his disappearance Jack was believed to be wearing a pullup diaper, black Under Armour jogging pants and blue rubber boots with dinosaur print. Lilly Sullivan is described as a...

https://www.saltwire.com/nova-scotia/redacted-warrants-search-for-jack-lilly-sullivan-rcmp-pictou-county The pay locked article above says the witness saw them walking on Gairloch Road towards Westville between 9:30 and 10:00 am. So, northeast of the home, while the blanket and boot print were...

The Globe simply said it was close to their home—did anyone find an exact location? Google map image. Pipeline trail highlighted in purple, train tracks in yellow. The custom when driving here is to quickly slow down and make a wide pass when you see pedestrians or stopped cars on rural...

Yes, I read that one. @LadyL said we heard about that scream in the woods previous to that article, but I can’t find anything.

I must have missed it. Was it early in the case? I only heard of it recently. Do you have a link? I searched and can only find references to Lilly screaming before she vanished, and DM screaming for them in the woods when searching for them.
