I would think that when the suspect pulled the flashlight out of his mouth at the front door, there was a good chance some saliva dripped onto the front door mat.
I’m very surprised the mat was taken as evidence as the suspect also stood on it, and perhaps there was fiber transfer from anywhere...
If burglary was the intent and injuring NG (or her having a medical emergency) was not part of the plan, I would think a criminal would want to take NG with them.
It’s common that criminals believe “no body, no crime”.
And we’ve seen how important finding the body is on many cases here at...
It is possible that NG encountered the perpetrator in the house, was extremely frightened and suddenly full of adrenaline and then suffered a medical emergency, like a heart attack, and then fell unprotected on the ground, potentially creating a head injury / bleeding. She was old enough that a...
The perpetrator likely had access to NG’s phone in the house to turn off the cameras.
Even with no password, he could have used Face ID by holding the phone in front of NG.
Why he would approach the front camera from the outside and be captured on it versus opening the front door from inside...

Circled in yellow….

I noticed that the tires were to the left also. In some photos of the area (older), I noticed circular tire tracks on the beach, likely from people spinning donuts for fun. It could be possible that she (or someone driving) was doing donuts and rolled / slid into the water accidentally.
Agree, I think the others would scatter, and all pretend they thought she was sleeping in the AM when they left her or claim they didn't know she was there. Otherwise, they couldn't really claim it was an accident....
Agreed, alot of nest cameras limit access to video after a certain time frame - like two weeks or one month (depending on which subscription you pay for), so it would be important to be asking for people to check cameras ASAP.
I'm talking about if @truckeelife 's theory is correct and she left and went to separate house for an after party with just a few people after leaving the Prosser party....
