2010.07.15 What I saw at the Hearing

I have to say that this is one of the fairest and most kind observations of this grandmother I've seen yet. Props to you for having the fortitude to post it, even though there are those of us (me, for example) who have challenges with this lady because of our perception of her moral and ethical...

    2010.07.15 - Hearing - 2PM EST

My bet: she is embarrassed. It's one thing to have to answer to LE in an interrogation room, a videotape deposition on a civil case etc. All of those situations don't have your daughter and the public **directly in front of you in realtime**. Has to be intimidating. Y'all are doing great...

    FL - Somer Thompson, 7, Orange Park, 19 Oct 2009 #3

She addressed this in the conferences this morning - I was listening to the one on Fox News (via Sirius channel 131). He is her boyfriend and he lives in the home.

Yeah, the talk is cool. Action... now that's better. I like it when they're quiet and methodical and all of a sudden BAM! They got a guy (or gal, sorry didn't mean to be sexist or nothing) in cuffs.

While I believe you, it must be that Florida cases end up with the most missing and dead children. We often comment at my house that as an adult or a child, you don't want to be a victim in Florida or Georgia. And look here, both of those states are involved in this case.

Unless you take drastic steps for your personal information to NOT be accessible via the Internet, it is. While I don't run "background" checks on anyone, I don't really pay much mind to others who do. Why? Unless you're with law enforcement and have access to specific updated records...

Poll: Would you buy it? The A's WILL write a book....

I voted the other: the answer is no, because all of the Anthony's saga is already laid out in print. Buying something that's already free and in the public domain is silly.

Sleuthing Cindy's Depo & Baez Objections to Sealed Items

I don't think something can be 'secretly' sealed - however I do have an idea. Could one of the photos be a frame capture of the infamous Casey-Anthony-hears-the-news-her-daughter's-body-has-been-found jail video? That one was sealed?

Sleuthing Cindy's Depo & Baez Objections to Sealed Items

Exactly. They don't have appear to have any evidence to prove what they're saying, do they? Many of the talk show/cable news pundits comment that it's grandstanding, and indeed it may be. What I tend to think it is is what I stated before: a strategy to try to put as much doubt as possible...

Sleuthing Cindy's Depo & Baez Objections to Sealed Items

Maybe. But I think I read that the tape, while layered, was loose. The skin it was attached to was gone. Good question though :)

Sleuthing Cindy's Depo & Baez Objections to Sealed Items

Yep I saw that on the other thread. Hence why "screwed" looks like the word of the day in describing the defense. A "theory" doesn't translate to "evidence and proof", something that I think Baez and even his crew doesn't always remember. Their strategy looks to me to be for the short term, not...

Sleuthing Cindy's Depo & Baez Objections to Sealed Items

I agree with you. One thing that I think people don't know is that while the defense has to share the evidence they have with the State it has to be revealed before the trial and that's a long way away. If the State wants it right away, they can compell the defense by filing in court for...

Sleuthing Cindy's Depo & Baez Objections to Sealed Items

Yep. And I might point out that the defense, after the travesty of a motion they filed and the outcome yesterday, has a huges issues in the evidentary arena: Baez was not laughing when he was ordered to turn over evidence his team claims to have proving someone else dumped Caylee's body in...

Discrepancies in the Depositions Between Anthony Family Members

One of the disturbing pieces for me isn't the inconsistencies in these depositions when compared together, it's the comparison with the information today vs that which they gave and how they gave it, individually, to the FBI and OCSO back when. Read/watch those interviews, and then read these...

2009.04.13 State To Seek Death Penalty For Casey Anthony

No we don't. But the death penalty is after a controlled justice process presuming innocence and when appropriate ascertaining guilt, not arbitrary stoning and beheadings. If she is proven guilty, then it's my point of view that she's made the choice to live with the decisions she made -...
