The glow is produced by a chemical reaction with iron in the blood, but other substances can cause a similar reaction. Feces will produce the same glow, bleach can too. Urine also contains a small amount of blood.

Not sure either, but i know feces stains would show, and if the floor was recently bleached the whole thing would glow.
