Vincent Doan was convicted of her murder. He has been incarcerated for life with a possibility of parole after 30 years. He isn't likely to get parole if she isn't found. This search was begun after a tip. They are looking at a possibility of 3 bodies, 3 missing cases, from different counties...

I am just unsure about the shooter. From watching other cases I would guess they found the shooter at the scene fom the responses I am seeing. There are no warnings going out here, school lockdowns have been lifted. The only thing they ar saying though is there is not an active shooter...

It is Pike County but it looks like most of the surrounding counties are involved. Also most state law enforcement: OBI and the AG's office.

I grew up near there and spent quite a bit of time there in my teen years. News reports are scattered, very little info. They aren't saying much about the shooter, but the school lockdowns have been lifted. I have heard there were two adults and 5 kids killed, but I have also heard 2 kids...

For the majority of officers, they deserve respect for what they do. For the small percentage of officers who do not deserve that respect, the goal is to survive the encounter. If you survive then you can take action against them later.

My position has always been you respect law enforcement. If you cannot respect the man, then you respect the badge. The badge represents the laws we live under. If you find that you cannot or will not respect the man or the badge, then respect the gun the officer wears.
