    NY - Karina Vetrano, 30, found murdered, Queens, 2 Aug 2016 #4

Hoping NY State still approves use of familial DNA searches for cases like this. Looks like the Vetrano case was solved through police work and a direct DNA match (if confirmed) but this won't be possible for other cases and those families deserve every chance for justice.

Federal Indictment: James Burke, Former Suffolk Co PD Chief, December 2015

I am unsure how this response is related to my comment. What is the train of thought at work here if any?

Federal Indictment: James Burke, Former Suffolk Co PD Chief, December 2015

Or...if investigation of the LISK case would by proxy expose something indirectly related to the case - such as running illegal prostitution rings, etc. which would have direct consequences for JB. Derail the investigation and his nefarious activities remain under wraps.

Federal Indictment: James Burke, Former Suffolk Co PD Chief, December 2015

This motive is very compelling, agreed. It brings together the threads of these murders quite nicely - prostitutes, 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬, etc. About snuff films - hypothetically if someone made a snuff film, what would they do with it? Would they share it with a circle of intimates or sell it for profit...

    POI: Michael Pak

I've been reading through the latest posts and have an idea. I know this is unlikely and borderline tin foil hat, but what if there is a group of people who get off on killing women and these girls have been victims of this? Maybe MP was some sort of provider of victims. I know this would be...

Who Has Heard Burke's Voice on The 911 Tape?

This is what I always thought was the context. They were not happy with Burke right then...

    That's definitely worth something!

Well if it was a blowtorch, that's not something people usually carry around casually.

Someone mentioned the possibility of a blowtorch which I find compelling. I was wondering how someone could inflict somewhat localized burns - a blowtorch would do that without the need of any accelerant. A horrific thought...

    TX - Terri 'Missy' Bevers,45, murdered in church/person in SWAT gear,18 Apr 2016 #26

It is so terribly brazen, but I have been wondering myself if it could have been one of her campers! I'm sure that hasn't been lost on LE, either.

    Found Deceased SC - Brittanee Drexel, 17, Myrtle Beach, 25 April 2009 - #17

And why was it still pinging if she was abducted against her will? Wouldn't the abductor disable that right away to avoid leaving a trail? Maybe she went of her own volition initially and then it turned at some point, hence the FBI saying they think she was held against her will for maybe part...

    Found Deceased SC - Brittanee Drexel, 17, Myrtle Beach, 25 April 2009 - #17

And is the only way to be CERTAIN that someone is dead to find at least partial remains? Or maybe photo/video evidence?

    TX - Terri 'Missy' Bevers,45, murdered in church/person in SWAT gear,18 Apr 2016 #23

I mentioned this once before and it got zero traction but this person appears to me to be an effeminate male. I do not know if that offends anyone or sounds politically incorrect - neither is my intent at all. I am making no reference to sexuality or anything like this. I am simply saying that...

MI MI - Jessica Heeringa, 25, Norton Shores, 26 April 2013 #9 (J. Willis GUILTY)

So I know we are wondering about connections to two unsolved cases (Heeringa and Bletsch) but I am curious if he could be responsible for more than that. If the police found all of those things in his car, I assume he was not aware he was on LE's radar and did not take measures to clear any...
