Surely they have figured out who was calling her by now - that's not a hard thing to trace & one of the easiest things to find out.

This case reminds me of Summer Wells in so many ways & I fear years will go by w/o any solution. I won't go into all the ways it seems similar, but it is very concerning. Poor kids.

Exactly, and it takes years for a child to get big enough to do something about their cruel parents. Who knows, maybe she thought she was protecting the 5 year old. I'm new to this case, so obviously pure speculation. Sad from beginning to end for all concerned.
