    In 1993 Land Rover gave the Discovery a facelift. MBs vehicle is the updated version. If it's the diesel version it changed from the 200Tdi to the300Tdi.

    I have not got a link but I'm fairly confident it was never reported that the contents were dumped in the river.

    A left hand drive 1993 Discovery would be a lot cheaper to buy in the UK than RHD. More expensive to insure.

    Yes but LE would need a witness to the vehicle description for evidence.

    Something else that has been troubling me. LE were looking for a white or grey van which morphed into Land Rover, both of which MB allegedly had access to. Cart before the horse anyone. I think it is entirely possible they were looking for MB irrespective of the vehicle description.

At that time there were CCTV cameras through the town and I even had a conversation with a local LE officer who told me how useful they had proven to be in the past.
