Apple health doesn’t measure elevation change, just elevation gain.
I’d be pretty annoyed after a day hillwalking to see I hadn’t had any change in elevation because I’d returned to the same place…
No, it shows elevation gain only. It’s also slightly inconsistent, as others have pointed out. More accurate when you’re walking longer distances at a steady rate or climb.
Mine massively underestimates daily steps, e.g at home or work when I’m only moving a very short distance at a time.
Bringing forward the discussion about unlocking iPhones to take photos or videos; on all the models I’ve had (admittedly not the one Libby had) you could access the flashlight/torch and camera without unlocking the phone.
Or if torturing and killing are so very scary and bad, perhaps they shouldn’t have tortured and killed a young child in their own family…. Beggars belief what that poor girl suffered for so long, and the adults who were supposed to be protecting her are only worried about themselves!
IMO only...
AllTrails has frequently shown my horse and I ending up in rivers, lochs and the sea. We haven’t got wet feet yet!
IME from riding in other very rural areas it is not very accurate.
