Just heard on the news that Curl is in court today. Any updates?

See attached link....apparently there is no real discussion as to what the new State's Attorney's stand will be concerning Curl's chance at facing the death penalty. If only Toni had such a choice. http://www.electclay.org/speeches.html It's the third response down -- labeled death penalty.

If he is disabled: mentally, financially, physically, whatever... and his mother is elderly, why in the heck does he have custody of a child??? Where is the son's mother?

IMO.... There's no way LE let Curl run to see if he actually would. And to a foreign country no less! Technically he could still be there and can you imagine the creative PC's that would have been presented as a temporary dodge to the reality that they had him once and now he's drinking tequila...

JMO... The time-line oddly syncs Press Conferences with Curl movement. 10/16: PC - nothing to report other than searches and interviews. (remains actually found). Perhaps the date of Curl's first interaction with LE? 10/23: PC - human remains found a week ago, now a death investigation...

Perhaps they found something in his home rather than the car. If he missed his appointment on the 25th and alledgedly skipped out on the 23rd, there had to be something that made LE call in the FBI and track him all the way to Mexico. If he was visibly burned at the first interview, then...

It seems like every time LE had a press conference to announce one thing, quite another was going on. When they found remains on the 16th it was announced at a PC that nothing new had been discovered in Toni's case, but dogs were being brought in for a second search. Curl had to be interviewed...

At what point does he enter a plea?

I haven't read anywhere else that there was a gun involved. All of the other articles refer to the "converted motor vehicle" -- whatever that means -- when discussing the $50,000. I also believe that Curl had to have confessed. What I don't understand is why LE was waiting a WEEK to...
