Is there any way to pin down when the facebook page was taken down? Initially I assumed it might have been taken down because of an onslaught of searches driven by the connection to the Ford scandal. Maybe the family or whoever ran it didn't want the attention, perhaps they felt the connection...
There seems to be very little information out there on Jaclyn. She is apparently still missing, as highlighted above. It looks like a Facebook page relating to he disappearance had now been taken down, maybe because of the connection being made to the Sandro Lisi/Rob Ford investigation.
MOO
I started a thread to discuss the disappearance of Jaclyn Dawe CANADA Canada - Jaclyn Dawe, 35, Toronto, 9 February 2013 - Websleuths Crime Sleuthing Community

There seem to be so many branches to this story, many suspicious avenues to pursue. I worry there is more to this story than just Ford's addiction problems.
Torontonian here... sometimes there are just no words. :banghead:
What did bring me here was a search for a missing woman who might be tangentially connected to the crack scandal.
Jaclyn Dawe has been missing since February 2013. She went missing from an address that is listed as one of the...
Agreed. Many former dancers/gymnasts can probably perform such maneuvers without having an overly slim body.

It does appear to give justification of this arrest, as it has been applied in previous contests regarding the constitutionality of the Massachusetts disorderly conduct laws...
Respectfully snipped by me..
It's frustrating to read arguments comparing this incident to other crimes and legal scenarios. I think comparing the situation between Mr. Gates and Sgt. Crowley to an incidence of domestic abuse is unfair, illogical and only serves to manipulate the argument...
I think he rides an adult size tricycle.
I know I shouldn't laugh but the pictures make me giggle. That said, I don't think a riding a trike is much indication of stamina and health.
However, you are right. A person of the most unassuming size could go into a rage and harm another...
This isn't specific to your experience oh_gal but to the larger idea that white people don't think about race, while only minorities do. I think this is an idea that's been brought up a few times on the board.
That's due to a phenomenon called white privilege. White people don't think about...
Sure. I think many people people in this thread are writing of their support for the officer, or to express their indignation regarding the perceived discrimination of the police officer. That seems to be occurring.
My position is different than some. I don't even think I would say that the...
Here is a link to an article on CNN posted on page one of this thread. LINK It outlines both the accounts made by both men as to the order of events.
Gates says he entered the house, spent a few minutes inside until the police arrived. He says he showed his drivers license (which would state...
