I came across some YouTube videos about Emily recently. Looking at the comments, there were multiple people who posted that Emily was running drugs to Mexico and tried running off with a shipment. Supposedly she was killed for this and dumped somewhere in Mexico. No idea the veracity of these...

Actually no, she was found in a pretty remote and wooded area that was not accessible by car. They go to the area in the documentary her family made.

I'd like to add that many believe the disappearance and apparent abduction of Julie Weflen is linked to these cases. Unfortunately, one well known person of interest has recently passed away. I hope somehow these cases can still be solved.

Praying for her safe return If there's any lesson in this, it's to fight back and never let yourself be taken to a secondary location where something much worse will happen. Also switch up your morning routine, parking spot, route, etc because you never know who's watching.
