I think that law enforcement should investigate the possibility that the disappearance of a young woman named Vera Izhevskiy is linked to Leah Roberts. Vera was a resident of Maple Falls, WA. That is near where Leah’s Jeep was found. Vera disappeared from Bellingham. Her body eventually found about 2 years later I think. Perhaps the person responsible for her disappearance had a connection to her in Maple Falls, was familiar with that area, or even lived there during the time of Leah’s disappearance. I think they should be looking for someone who held a number of residences all over the area. I also think that while Leah’s Jeep traveled to the Maple Falls area, Leah herself did not. My thought is that the person responsible for her disappearance took her somewhere closer to Bellingham - somewhere just off the Mt Baker Highway. I’d be checking criminal records showing a bunch of addresses in that area and/or with relatives or girlfriends also having addresses in the area. Then start looking into secluded areas between the Highway and those residences for remains. It’s quite possible that there’s areas that were secluded then, but not now because of more small acreage homes in the area. Because of the lengthy time period between Leah and Vera’s disappearances I think the perpetrator hid in plain sight in the area. He may even still live nearby, or has left and returned and left multiple times. Pretty sure he’s resided in a number of county jails in the area too....perhaps even in the Everett area and he’s responsible for the red herring attempt?
