I’m really worried about Peg O’Keefe. She looked very fragile today and spent half the time staring at the floor. I’m afraid she’s going to have a medical event when the verdict is read. I don’t envy Paul who’s going to have to keep her in one piece.
Did I dream it last night, or did HB ask Dr. R if he laughed during the lunch break with the defense last year? Newsflash Hank: just because you’ve never laughed a day in your life, doesn’t make it a crime. Yes, I can imagine your former client shooting someone for laughing, but this isn’t...
Brennan forgot to ask Dr. Wolfe how he got to the courthouse this morning. How can the jury possibly reach a verdict without that key piece of information?
Brennan fails to acknowledge the human emotions here. I’m sure the jury likes Dr. Wolfe and, as a result, they now probably hate Brennan and everything/everyone he represents.
Oh, and is this his first trial involving a taillight hitting an arm?
IMO
I wouldn’t call myself a guilty and I’m not saying the cw is right, but those answers are pretty simple:
1. She was in front of 34FV.
2. He was about 60-80 feet behind her car
3. Ryan had already left the scene. The Jeep was in the driveway.
4. She did the 3-point turn on a nearby street.
Yes, you’re spot on regarding BH’s response to KR’s initial texts - he was like “you’re sure you’ve got the right guy? Are you serious or is this some sort of prank?”
And then at the very end - she texts him “John’s dead” and we get complete silence from BH. Probably because he was too busy...
If she’s found NG, I don’t think the cw will re-open the investigation to identify another suspect. First of all, they’d be too pig-headed to acknowledge they got it wrong and second, I don’t see how they could ever try another person for John’s death - there would be automatic reasonable doubt...
Sorry for the double post, but hoping to get a serious answer this time….does the defense acknowledge that the SUV backed up 60-80 feet at 20+ mph in front of 42FV or is that in dispute?
