Nice work! FWIW and maybe you already did this, but when you lighten up the tread on the “black” or “dark green” part of the sole, (shown here) on the golf shoe you found, IMO, the little square type shapes look similar to the blood stain prints that you and Tortoise pointed out in posted pics...
