I have wondered that myself and you may be correct about the Big/Little Store. I have always (and still do) wanted to know where he encountered them, how he managed to gain control of them and last, but not least WHY he had to kill them.

@ Andree: Yes it was a horrible case-as bad as they come. Two innocent lives snuffed out for no apparent reason. I think often of the terror they must have suffered in the last few minutes of their precious lives. I hope the Tsunami spared you.
