NamUs #UP11583 isn't that bad of a potential Jane Doe match for Collins. Can someone check the ruleouts for me for each. I'm having log-in trouble these days.
I don't think Denise was an only child. I think she had a half-sibling through her father according to the obituary for her father. By my research, that half-sibling would be deceased now but was very well known in the Sacramento business community.
Okay, took a fresh look at this case. I remember taking an interest in it when I was a newbie to missing person's cases. I took a pretty deep dive into the missing person. Her mother was Helen Vassilopoulos, which was not too difficult to find. Her father was named Frederick Edward Anderson, who...
I don't think this article has been posted, but there was a 2024 online article from a Turkish news source that should be looked at.
"Canadian police sources, speaking exclusively to Türkiye Today, confirmed that Adair remains a "person of interest" in Lisa Marie Young's murder case."...
I only found the one article in the newspaper but I only look at newspapers.com. Others with other members should look using the keywords found in the article. Marla was my top guess for the Jane Doe and I published my blog post just two months ago. I wonder if someone read it and that filtered...

Yep, thanks KCromwell for that article. I didn't find it before. I looked Mary Ann Luksch up on Ancestry and she married into the Wesolowski name so it's not our missing person. Back to the drawing board but at least no one goes down the same rabbit hole again.
Thank you for that find. With that article, it looks like she married into the last name Wesolowski, meaning it wouldn't be the missing person who was born into the name. Use of "Mrs." and her parents listed as Mr. and Mrs. Luksch indicate that this is a miss, I think.
