I gasped when I saw there had been an arrest! Glad that the silence was because they already had eyes on the perp. Poor, poor Megan. Nothing will bring her back but I hope this will bring some measure of peace to her family.
I think about this case a lot. I hope the silence is because they have a good idea of what happened and not because they're not looking. I would think her family and friends would be more outspoken if that were the case.
Thanks! I read this article, don't know how I missed that
I hope whatever time he serves is consecutive so even if he gets a relatively light sentence for each charge, it adds up. The only way I see him really getting a heavy sentence outright is if some evidence surfaces of similar...
I think this is saying he found ET through his employment at the school. The word "work" in the second sentence doesn't refer to his job, it refers to whatever actions he took to hide his involvement with ET from the school. It is worded in a confusing way.
This is a good point. I wonder if the friend will talk eventually.
He really, truly is. He must have actually thought he could pull this off, because as you point out the punishment for this is way worse than what he was already facing. He's an even bigger narcissist than I thought.
All I'm thinking is thank God they didn't get in a boat to go to Mexico. They could very well have been lost at sea and even if they made it they would have been in danger. I agree, they're probably buttering him up about his amazing plan and he's spilling all these incriminating details. Keep...
If TC's sister doesn't buy his explanation then that's even more reason not to relay it to a broad audience. It serves no one but TC, certainly not ET.
I do feel that victims and family members on both sides are often scrutinized to an unfair degree.
For example I thought some people were...
It seems like TC was not very well prepared at all and was scrambling by now. I can't believe it took this long for someone to spot them if they were staying in hotels and going into public together. I can only imagine how well he may have been able to hide if he'd actually thought this through.
I wonder how he would find clients. I guess Craigslist? Putting up flyers? Could he make enough money doing that to support two people?
Even if it's off the books and leaves no paper trail, any kind of employment is going to bring him in contact with more people. He's generic-looking enough...
I hope so too, although Central Ave is very...well, central, and would be quite busy on a weekend morning, lots of people around. I wish there was a better picture.
ETA: I just clicked the link above for more info and it's been updated to say he's been located...
Definitely not anyone legit. I was picturing some not-too-dirty grifter TC could convince with a few hundred bucks cash. Still unlikely though IMO. I would guess he is limiting their face time with strangers as much as possible.
