FL - FSU Law Professor Dan Markel Murdered by Hitmen-Donna Adelson Upcoming Trial - *5 Guilty* #27

Ms. Markel's plugging her book during the VIS seemed really gross to me. Even using the full, eleven word title. Surprised she didn't project an Amazon QR code on the wall.

Regardless of whether the plea rumor is true or false, maybe somebody leaked it to Jansen to see if he could keep a secret or be a useful distributor of misinformation?

If they are not going after one of the other Adelsons, maybe it's one of the previous lawyers? If one of them was witness tampering, etc., the state and the judge who granted the wire tap warrant would likely want to go after him or her.

JP Keener was a creepy young teacher at JP Taravella High School in the early 90s. Unsurprising he "kept in touch" with a student he may have perceived of as pretty.

There is simply no reason, other than sadism, a desire for extra-judicial "justice," and perceived cost savings for pre-conviction detainment and transportation to be as uncomfortable as Leon County (and most others) have made it. Let this level of treatment wait until she, or anyone else, is...

I am not attempting to negatively characterize being on the spectrum. However, I have met Dr. Adelson more than once. He displays none of the traits usually associated with being on the spectrum. Smart, funny, engaging, healthy group of friends, etc.

He's actually representing the jail's outsourced health care provider (per the court's efiling portal).

This guy is listed in the court filing portal, but this case seems like a bad match for him. http://www.thetoomeylawfirm.com/

I prefer to look at the houses on Trescott to those on Betton. The light at Betton and Thomasville does get backed up (someone mentioned that above). Trescott lets out closer to Thomasville and I can often end up spending a lot less time at that light. And, it is less traveled, which makes it a...

Exactly. I do think WA has some level of culpability. I just don't think the liquor store or the route indicate that.

I've been in town for 25+ years and I always take Trescott instead of Betton if I'm coming from Centerville or that side of town in general.

It's also the nicest liquor store in town with the most main road visibility. It's not surprising a non-drinker who used to live in that neighborhood would think to go there. Especially if she was going up Thomasville for lunch.

It was probably negotiated. The Court maybe said, "we're going to remove you." She maybe said, "how about if you order me to retire and I do so without objection." To which the court maybe said, "ok." Like a plea bargain...
