The search for Jessica Sanchez has come to an end, after family members confirmed to KENS 5 the bodies of Sanchez and the ex-boyfriend who allegedly kidnapped her were found in Medina County today. KENS 5 & Kens5.com

As you can see from the map. It feeds into lake Wylie SC. Duke energy uses it so there are several dams along the way. The water is normally calm unless the dams are releasing ( in the areas I've personally been too. ) so local kids swimming in it regularly is very possible. Google Maps
