Found Deceased NC- Brooke Mashay Tollie, 24, McDowell County, 13 May 2019

Deputies in McDowell County are asking for the public's help in locating a missing woman who was last seen on May 13.

Authorities say 24-year-old Brooke Mashay Tollie was last seen leaving a home on Riverview Acres Drive in Marion and never returned. She was reported missing by family on Thursday, May 23.

Tollie was last seen wearing a light brown night shirt, denim shorts and tan wedge shoes.

Anyone with information on Tollie’s whereabouts is asked to call the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office at 828-652-2235 or the McDowell County 911 communications center at 828-652-4000.

On Wednesday, North Carolina Department of Public Safety issued a Silver Alert for Tollie, saying she's considered endangered and is believed to have dementia or another cognitive impairment.

Silver Alert has been issued for a McDowell County woman, missing since May 13, 2019.

News 13 first reported on the search for Brooke Mashay Tollie, 24,last week when McDowell County officials reached out asking for help.

Appears they just changed it recently, as it was not a Silver Alert , when previously reported.

Very interesting comments and replies under the May 22, 2019 post to Brooke's FB page by the person stating he is Brooke's brother. I certainly hope LE has the same information, and that they are working on this case.

Seems as though this so called "friend" of hers was lying about his alibi and Brooke's brother seemed to be on to him... at least that is the tone I am getting from the posts. But, Mr. Westall is the person that is charged with conceilment of her body and told LE where to find her ... I sure hope she and her family gets some deserved justice!
