‘Humiliated’ sex offenders sue after Georgia sheriff puts no trick or treat signs up at their homes

I don't care how many times these freaks have "paid their debt to society". When I know of one I tell everybody, all over, I even show their pictures. I hang them on my refrigerators, in my kitchen and in my garage. All of the neighbors know who and where these freaks are. Neighbors talk and talk and talk. OH we might be known as nosey neighbors :)

Thank you for doing this. These monsters are a constant threat I don’t think their sick and evil desires ever go away whether they have been in prison for years or not.

I wonder what will happen with this lawsuit. The sign shown does not say anything about a sex offender living at this address and the lawsuit being in the media is what has drawn attention to the reason for it. If I saw the sign walking down the street I would think it might be there because a sex offender lived there but it could easily be for an elderly or disabled person who doesn’t want to be harassed by trick or treaters.

That sign has literally nothing humiliating. And it doesn't disclose the reason why there is no trick or treating there. Which makes me believe that they are upset because they wanted to get advantage of Halloween to have contact with kids. Gross.

I am so sick of hearing about CRIMINAL’S rights!! Pose no threat?? I wonder if that judge would be willing to have his children/ grandchildren around these offenders?

Trying to look up the named offenders in the lawsuit. One of them was convicted for sexual assault of a minor & aggravated sexual battery! WTH???
A second one charged with lewd & lascivious battery sex with victim 12-15 yrs of age!

Hmm, the offenders are offended. Amazing how these sick animals get kow towed to when in my opinion, anybody, I mean anybody who commits a sex crime should be jailed for life. None of this, "Oh he was abused himself," nonsense. Then wait for the sicko to commit several assaults until it gets a minor sentence. How many thousands of people, mainly women and children would be alive today if we locked these twisted monsters up first time they offend, for life? Personally I'd prefer to see them stoned to death or something equally brutal, but our caring society deems these sickos an endangered species and integral for using the court system for bleeding the tax payer dry. I like British bitter ale. No matter how much counselling u give me to tell me I don't like British ale is going to change my mind. See what I'm getting at? I know a dude who works with sex cases and he is an expert on these animals - he's admitted to me that there is no rehabilitation, they are destined to re-offend again and again and again. How many thousands of lives have been ruined by letting these perverts back into society? Rant over.

Amen to that. Society needs to know where these animals live. Lord knows it is hard enough keeping one's kids safe in today's society without pedos living up the road ready to pounce first chance they get.

Being from Ireland I'll give y'all Stateside a WTF moment. This Russian girl was adopted by a loving Irish family. At age 14 she gets lured into an abandoned building by some boys she knew of similar age. Two of them proceeded to rape and beat her to death. Now get this: these thugs can't be named due to their ages, so the little darlings are protected. The maximum sentence they can get is a juvenile supervision center until they are 18. Said WTF yet, America? I know, it is incredible, isn't it? The offenders protected. In America they used to try juveniles as adults in heinous crimes and jail the scumbags for life without parole like those 2 freaks who slaughtered poor Cassie Jo Stoddart, until the do-gooders (who have never lost a family member due to violent crime) popped up like a rancid jack in the box ranting how unconstitutional it is for some poor murdering junior psychopath to have to dare pay for his/her brutal crimes. While rational Americans like y'all who are signed up to this site might find it frustrating that your justice system is being abused for the offenders sake, at least there is still some kind of punishment, and not have to suffer like Anna's adopted parents in Ireland knowing these vicious sick bastards who murdered their child will be free in three years time. When I was 14 like these boys were at the time I knew right from wrong - we all did - so why must these vile individuals be protected and basically handed their lives back after RAPING AND MURDERING a child. These supervision centers are like holiday camps - they get to go out, get a full education, recreation, u name it. And if they want, they get a name change and new address when they leave. Takes the Michael, doesn't it? God, if I had more wits about me when I WAS 18, I'd have held up a bank or something and deliberately got caught so I could get 5 years free college degree courses in prison instead of having to work my ass off to pay for my third level education.

Why should we as homeowners and renters have to do our own research to even figure out where these pervs are holed up.

Im all for a sign in their yard but I want the sign to be permanent year-round and not just for Halloween time.

The public has every right to know if a convicted sexual predator just moved in next door. We should not have to jump through hoops to find out that information.

Put a sign year-round and make it a lighted Neon sign.

The way the US courts currently sneak them into housing is not right. Its like the courts want them to sneak into our communities without our knowledge. Sure they have those online sites we can now look them up but so many of us are still not tech savy or even have computers so why do we have to do all the research.

Plant that sign and make it a permanent year round lighted neon sign.
Why? So innocent law abiding citizens can keep our children and keep our neighbor's children safe.
The convicted person lost his ability for a normal life and normal rules when that person elected to commit a heinous crime.

Try living in IRELAND. We don't even get an interneyt search to find out what sick child raping 🤬🤬🤬 is on our doorstep. The way it stands, they are rarely convicted as the system sides with the offender in most cases; a throwback from the clergy who raped and murdered thousands of children here - we're still counting the bodies hidden away as fresh horrors are unearthed on an almost six monthly basis. Pedos are protected here, period - even if some sick f**k was to get sentenced you're looking at 18 months, tops. They hand down 4 to 12 year tariffs but the reality is, they know these animals are released within less than 2 years - protected, re-housed, free to offend again. Here's the kicker: say I had a kid that one of these dirt bags raped and I went after him and smashed his spine into pieces with a baseball bat, I'd do serious jail time with no relief, I'm going down for 10 years, no get out of jail free card. Yet these vile monsters can rape with impunity and receive a laughable sentence of way less than three years.

ITA Well said!
The ruling on this case is horrifying. The fact that these 3 stuck together is horrifying. A judge silencing a good, well-meaning Sheriff is horrifying.
This is going to START something BIG & more twisted down the road. These offenders are going to learn how to work the system to their advantage.
I believe this case has opened Pandora’s Box....

That’s horrible! Sounds to me like there are pedo’s controlling our gov’ts. Why else would the laws be so lenient? It’s the only thing that makes sense.

It's what I always thought. Britain is even worse - the green card to safety Kitty Richards got was unbelievable. As protected as Jimmy Saville. The cops go after one of these monsters and the whole house of cards collapse; look at how fast the Madeline Mccann inquiry was shut down in Portugal when Brown got involved - parliament pedo rings exposed is the last thing the elites want. Jerry Epstein is a classic example your end - the M.E has admitted he was slotted. Imagine all the names he'd have spewed if brought to trial. Cops are useless as they tow the line of their rat bastard superiors ordered to cover up such despicable crimes. And yet the majority of Joe Public is still brainwashed by mainstream news lies, never questioning.

You know what else I don't understand, I thought these freaks were not to be around where children are, especially by schools. I, along with many others know this is not true. There is one who lives right across from the Jr. High, and another one across from the park which connects to the Grade school. There's one across the street about 4 houses down. Their presence is enough evidence for me.

That is sickening!
I’m so tired of hearing about how the prisons are over crowded....that is a sorry excuse IMO. These people need to be locked up for life. NO AMOUNT of monitoring them will resolve the issue. If one of them cuts off their ankle monitor, it still gives them enough time to grab a kid & harm/murder them before the cops find them! MOO

If they “pose no risk to children” why would they be on the registry to begin with.
I’d like to know what the three offenders were on the registry for.
I do think there is the occasional person on the list that doesn’t belong there. Maybe they peed in a public place or slept with a girl who lied about her age. My guess would be that if the sheriff only chose three he did it for a reason.
