Now mentioning the scratch at school and her trip to the emergency room on Feb. 12th

You know having been gone from here for so long, looking at MC with fresh eyes.....I gotta say I am putting my money on her. They are right, putting kids to bed and then washing their blankets doesn't make sense. Then there's the "that little girl" comment, her IDK to too many questions. Yeah she's looking mighty guilty right about now.

:cow:
I haven't been following what's been going on for a while either since it really didn't have much to do with where Haleigh is ~ and I'm seeing the same things you are. In the beginning I thought she knew what happened, at least, if she didn't herself do something to Haleigh. Now I'm thinking more that she definitely is the one. MOO

I hope they see the writing is on the wall, thats all I have to say about that.
Didn't they just say the "newlyweds" are living with her?

NG is pointing out if LE is asking for people who know of MC's whereabouts, it's obvious she wasn't home --- ITA

First the kids watching a movie covered with a blanket, the window covering blanket washing, losing a blanket, and then the little boy being the last thing seen up and walking around. Then, the little boy telling that a guy dressed in black took Haleigh. The couch shaking and no signs of forcible entry. It doesn't take a brain surgeon to figure it out.

that changing story business reminds me so much of Joran Van der Sloot....and as we all know, he's walking the streets as a free man today...

Good point

Just like somebody on NG's show is saying "too many coincidences that point to her lying".

It's very obvious that NG is very skeptical of MC's stories and others on the panel agree

Perhaps the never found any 'other' fingerprints in the home (door handles, etc.) other than MC, RC and other family? Unless the person wore gloves and were very careful ... there would be 'other' prints.

I wish there was a new lead, but IMO it is back in the media simply because MN and TM are involved and LE felt pressure and issued a statement finally.

With all the stuff coming out about the new search that will take place within the next couple months....and now with this "breaking news" ...

do yall think that something NEW has been found or a NEW lead?

I think that Annette knows what all has been said... however I personally believe that she isn't going to feed the fire. I think she has been told what to say and what not to say. I do believe that MC knows something or has a hunch (kinda like she did with her cousin). She would throw the cousin under the bus BUT would she point a finger at her brother? He was there that day...he lives close.. and with all this drama going on lately, my suspicions point in his direction.... all the way down to the scratch on van.

The perp could've worn gloves but obviously by LE making this announcement they have excluded any "stranger" from sneaking into the house and abducting Haleigh. No footprints, no strange DNA, no tool marks on the door, etc. MOO

Yes, and Annette knows nothing about that night, its amazing-

Which is also what RC claims - whenever asked about the events, he says "I don't know, I was at work" or "I wasn't there". It just blows my mind a little girl goes missing and NO ONE in the family questions what happened. NONE of them have questioned MC. NONE of them have pinned down a timeline or searched for clues. So, do they just sit around the house not talking about it? Do they just hang out like normal pretending nothing happened? I don't get it.

Could be just simply that LE asked ask the family not to repeat any details given to them by Misty?

Annette says- we never thought it was a stranger, then didn't she say something like it had to have been someone who maybe seen her get off the bus or something- I mean I thought, well, if someone is watching her get off the bus- wouldn't that be a stranger, maybe I heard it wrong.

This is exactly what I think.

No offense to any of us sleuther's but I fail to see any "BOMBSHELL" or any new evidence released via the media; LE or any outlet. There is nothing new period. The only thing that is reinforced is in MOO is that RC is responsible for this and MC is covering for him or as soon as that press release came out; LE would have been to "grandma's" house quicker than you can say 911. I mean come on w/ his temper? There is NO way if he were innocent in this that he would have married Misty let alone no domestic violence phone calls today!

Just speculating....it is a small community and maybe she doesn't consider people who live in it as "strangers"....maybe she's just leaving open the possibility it was one of the many local RSOs or some other "local" person.

GGma saying she's not aware of all the details and timelines and such. Man, if this were one of my children, my parents would've grilled me up and down about the details and probably asked me to repeat several times through the course of searching for her. They'd want every last detail and have written notes and verification.

Weird.

Me, too - and I was the same way with my kids. IMO, it's very strange that she would not be aware of the details. She seems like a hands on grandparent to me and Ron and Misty live with her.
