I tried this experiment on my tile floor with a bullet casing, water, corn syrup thick and diluted (arterial and venous) and it slid and rested clean. With the patterns on that floor, like mine it is hard, very hard to get a casing to roll but easy to slide. If I said rolled I apologize.

How would you account for the shell casing winding up on top of a slab of blood by it just rolling up there and no sign of blood on the top of the casing

Yes... as far as the gun/gunshot is concerned (that detectives didn't ever bother to look for).

But, I disagree with the ME Dr. Horn? I believe he was shot first at the last shower pic of Travis' face.

Question: If she premeditated this, why didn't she keep his camera as a trophy? and say it was "stolen".

When patients have come into the ER, we have no clue the FULL extent of their injuries until they have been examined completely and the blood/glass/etc has been removed. As Detective Flores stated there was a lot of blood on his face that covered the small bullet entry wound which was very small. It would have been impossible to determine if it was an entry wound or a stab wound at the time of discovery. If you have no working knowledge of what these detectives and medical personnel do, I would refrain from the criticism. JMO

I was looking over the police report and saw that June 4 was roommate Zach's day off work. He said that morning he went to get his car out of the shop and got back home around three. He stayed about an hour and left again around four. Read his info on page 17. He didn't see anybody at the house and didn't see any strange cars in the neighborhood. Where did Jodi park? It doesn't seem like it was at Travis's house.
