So, when Jodi Arias is convicted she will be sentenced to death and spend the next 20 years in a 12 x 7 cell, alone, 23 hours per day. She will not be allowed to comingle with any other prisoners, nor will she be allowed contact with visitors or attorneys. She can have visitors, but thru a glass screen only, and she can have two electronic devices in her cell. Doesn't sound too bad, does it?

Sounds much too good for her.

Please just let them be yes and no questions!!!!

Even if they are, we all know how that will go. Maybe since the judge is asking them she will be able to keep her answers short? :seeya:

She however, does not have the record of mental instability at least. Which makes JA look even more nutty to me...if that makes any sense.

Right. Because Andrea Yates realized that "something" was wrong and called 911 while JA planned this killing in advance, carried it out and then attempted to erase all evidence of her being there. Andrea Yates didn't tell 199 different versions of her story either. IMO, Rusty Yates was as culpable as Andrea Yates because he was not the one who was insane, just stupid.

I haven't had time to watch for the past 2 days, nor catch, if someone can give me just a brief round up, that would be fantastic :) what happens next - jury questions - then what? Thanks very much in advance. xx

Was she ever offered LWOP?

This trial is ridiculous.

However, because of all of the titillating sex, it is keeping people glued to this trial.

There are a lot of people making money off of this including a lot of advertisers.

If this had been someone who killed her BF, the interest would be gone. But because of all of the sex, it has really grabbed on audience.

She was not offered any plea deal. She proposed a settlement wherein she would plead guilty to 2nd degree murder, get a 25 year sentence and credit for time served. It was rejected.

One thing that has been nagging at me is JA's story that Travis got even more mad at her once he was shot in the head. I would think the FIRST reaction to being shot in the head (if you even survive it) is pain, confusion, shock, fear, and then screaming for someone to help. I doubt anger would even play into something like that until he was healing in the hospital after brain surgery. One of the last emotions would be anger. I'm not a psychologist but it just seems like common sense, IMO.

That alone would discount her story of still being afraid of him after she shot him in the head.

Yep, my TV was on when i awoke and HLN said 3pm Eastern for the jury to come in. :banghead:

That means only 1 and 1/2 hours if they stop at 4:30pm so Jodi can get to jail for her beanie weenie dinner.

HLN are saying 1pm. Did the judge say 3pm today, I thought yesterday she told the jury 1pm?

If that was true then why has her DT had soooooo many objections to the questions and why pray tell are they so frazzled their objections are getting overuled??????

Come join us in the light Ammonitida.

Only like 10 more questions were objected to so far. They could have all come from the same juror who is leaning toward guilt. He or she might not even become a final juror.

Court reporter Mike can type 300 words per minute! I didn't know that was even humanly possible!

Not trying to take away from Mike, but the court reporters do not use a standard keyboard like when you have on your computer, they are more technical, and have more than one word or letter to a key....

If anything, that gives Mike even MORE credit! I dont know how they do it.

can whoever kept track (good job) of the objected questions post again pretty please? I cant find the post again

Posts 787 and 931. These were from the defense. There were four from the prosecution, but I think both sides were in agreement for three of them being thrown out.

does removing the gun from the "holster" if one existed prove premeditation?

But they started with # 42

I have been mistaken once or twice before :what: -- and maybe I mis-heard... but I thought, early on, that Nurmi mentioned question #16 -- but don't take it to the bank... IDK...

Why would questions start at 42? I am truly confused by this. Anyone?

i thought I heard them backtrack at one point from higher numbers to questions 1, 2 ..?

How many questions got taken off the list?
Anyone know? :)

3pm EST ... 1pm in Az.

HLN must mean that the jury will convene at 1:00 AZ time, not 3:00 (that would be EST). I hope that they don't break for lunch at 2:00.
