Answer: I don't know if he was right behind me or not I just had the sense he was chasing me.

Mmhmm. Then perhaps he didn't chase you until he realized you were going for his gun (in Jodi's story), rightttt? Then was it reasonable to go for the gun instead of running left instead and out the door, where the naked man likely wouldn't follow you? Too bad the jury can't immediately ask follow ups.

Think about it though...they aren't really challenging her. She can pretend they're friends, run the narrative (she loves controlling this) and attempt to manipulate them because now its as close to one on one as she can get. That's when psychopaths are in their prime.

Who she is right now is who Travis would've first met...only she would have quickly 'read' him so she could appear as someone he couldn't help but be attracted to. She would likely have seemed his soul mate, absolutely perfect for him. It's all manipulation, of course, but you don't know that until months or years later.
