I think that the word is used like so many of her words - incorrectly. She likes to make it look like she is such a fabulous linguist. She's just a 2 bit con/killer who somehow discovers words and uses them, hoping that those hearing these words won't know what they mean. (I would have said "big words", but edify isn't that big).

Just another example of how she doesn't understand people if she thinks her "fancy" words will somehow ingratiate her to the jury.

If I counted right, we got through 58 questions today. So even if we have 100 to go, if there happens to be a FULL day of court tomorrow, we may get through them all.
I really HATE that Arias has time to go over these questions with her attorney, and the less time she has to do that, the better.
I'll have to ask on the attorneys thread why this is allowed - I think it is SO unfair.

Yes, I watched it. "Looking at" the video is what I meant. I can't turn the sound on though because hubby is watching TV. I saw the bloody floor and bullet. I guess different people have different ideas about what their kids watch. To each his own.

So of the camera pics LE recovered...one was of the ceiling of the hallway and the other is supposed to be of what? He is bleeding but it looks like either a foot or the bottom of his chin, with the neck wound being shown.

It's Travis' back. I have a pic if you want one (comparing it to the other one of Travis on the floor - blood pattern matches). But I posted it a day or so ago and I don't know how to post a single post and I don't want to be repetitive.

Yes, I remember that Skye had to turn over journal(s) but I very definitely remember somebody saying that Jodi STOLE TRAVIS' JOURNAL. I just can't remember who said it. One of Travis' friends I believe in an interview?

He surely had more than one so Jodi could have gotton one or more.

And he mentions in texts that she can't even grant him basic human right to privacy...

As a defendant she has a right to be involved in preparation of her case including going over the questions. At least that's how it was explained on HLN.

Imo she didn't do a great job answering questions today. She seemed nervous.

While I'm not an artist, I can draw - only because I had to take courses in figure drawing for my fashion design degree. When I saw JA's art I thought it looked "flat". There is no dimension to it - no depth. She has some talent, but her art is nothing special. Her art is of the "dime a dozen" brand.

She mentioned taking the S500 into the house because it had video capability. I've had a few of these (Canon S-series Elf, I believe) and they could take video in 2002-3 when I got my first one.

I only remember her mentioning it because I saw the photo of her holding a camera that looked like mine when in a limo (her myspace page - I broke down and peeked), and when she specified the model I thought, "Ew... she has a camera like mine? I don't like that."

I don't know beyond that but the S-500 is a Canon. Unless Olympus has a camera model with the same name... ?

She's holding what looks like a Canon SLR/Rebel in that spookie selfie. Have one of those too. All the instructions (and icons on the camera/screen itself are in Japanese. I didn't buy it).

As far as the timeline, I think I figured out he was dead within about a week of his texts to her, that also said she was the worst thing that ever happened to him. I truly think this exchange was the trigger...the kind of reality check that would send someone like her into a vengeful rage. :moo:

I went back and listened on the phone sex conversation just to make sure I had this right. She asks him if he was coming to visit her before he goes to Cancun. He said that's his plan and that she is at the top of the list. That call was May 10th. He didn't go. His email was hacked and he sent her text on May 25 or 26th telling her how upset he was. That’s the one he calls her a sociopath in. Her grandparents house was robbed and the .25 caliber gun was taken May 28th. I think the text from him set her off on the plan to kill him.

I always wondered why Jodie kept referring to Mimi as the babysitter. I always took it as dig. Jodi has to get her pokes at everyone.

I thought it was the "safe" excuse Travis gave her when he told her he was taking Mimi. Mimi didn't want a r'ship yet he was still taking her and I thought she mentioned in her testimony that Travis explained that a family with a little girl were also going...so maybe he said she could baby sit the little girl and still come along with no strings attached. Just my guess...

Jean C has lost her ever loving mind. She just said on NG that today's question and answer help JA's case. Good Grief.

For some reason that doesn't surprise me about Jean C, as she comes across as somewhat of a dingbat with a lack of common sense and good practical judgment. Imo of course. Just have really not trusted her opinions most of the time, especially on cases such as this. Sad, especially concerning her education.
