I just want to preface what I'm about to write by saying that I do not intend to blame the victim.

Travis Alexander did not deserve to die, but he was recorded on audio saying that 12-year old girls arouse him. And it's pretty clear that he was, with all due respect, kind of a creep towards women.

I just feel like the coverage of this case is so black in white, painting Travis as a saint and Jodi as the devil itself.

To be clear: I believe that Jodi Arias should be locked up forever and have the key thrown away. Travis Alexander did not deserve to die, he did not deserve to be stalked. She mutilated him. I find it incredibly hard to believe that she killed him in self-defense.

But I do believe that Jodi is telling the truth about his pedophilia and abuse, based on the evidence. Just because he was also attracted to full-grown women does not make him less of a pedophile. The victim was obviously not some kind of angel or saint. Can we stop portraying him as one? It is demeaning to abuse victims everywhere to minimize the danger of pedophilia.

Is there any room for someone with my opinion on this forum? Everyone is baying for blood >>
:twocents:

what evidence would that be?

If you look at the shower pictures, he was actually sitting in the shower and she is taking the picture from above him, that is, she is standing, right before the ceiling picture.

So I do not believe she was squatting, kneeling, or whatever when Travis comes at her, as she said on the stand.

Actually that is when I believe she stabbed him in the chest /lung. He was at his most vulnerable then. Not sure He even knew she was there taking pictures until that moment.

she DOES talk about napping and sleeping a lot. IMO, it's just a convenient way to explain gaps in her stories.

and in that video with TA, she's not sleeping. she's broadcasting 'I'M BORED, TRAVIS!!! this story isn't about MEEEEEEEE. let's GO!!'

no wonder his friends hated her. just that one little clip is so revealing!!

Totally agree, KS. And also a way to conveniently have Travis 'find' her in his home when she was not expected to be there. Or a means of extending her stay.

I thought PTSD was where a person couldn't FORGET a traumatic event. :waitasec:
The traumatic event isn't necessarily remembered as much as it is relived. Many PTSD patients have a very fragmented memory of the event itself. Yet that memory is still there, even if there are huge gaps, and they often experience flashbacks and nightmares.

It's linked to memory loss apart from the actual traumatic event though because the brain chemistry changes in PTSD patients.

The areas of the brain controlling memory, emotion, and the ability to process language are all negatively affected. The hippocampus, the area responsible for memory, actually shrinks in patients who have PTSD.

Do you believe her pedophile story just because she said it? Where was once piece of actual evidence to back up what she said? Remember, there was no 🤬🤬🤬🤬 found in his home and no 🤬🤬🤬🤬 websites were ever visited on his computer. If you were to believe her story, then there should be all kinds of evidence found at his home.

I agree.
Did he even say he liked 12 year old girls?
I don't remember evidence of that.
And pedophiles would have a collection of kiddie 🤬🤬🤬🤬 somewhere.
Jodi's a liar.
She wants to paint him off as a monster to gain sympathy.

did they ask all of the 1st round of juror's question yesterday or were there remaining questions?

I know they have put more questions in the basket but they will have to let the attorneys go through and do their objections like the first round, right? are additional questions even allowed?

AFAIK they have more from yesterday.

Soo, I just listened to her answer for the question "When you injured yourself at Casa Ramos rotating the glasses, did your supervisor have you fill out any forms for injuries for workers compensation claims?"

Her answer does not even answer the questioned posed to her... Which makes me think its a lie (well of course it is) Her answer to that question was this:
"No, this was a small buisness operation they didn't have formalities like forms, that type of things. What was minimumly required, as far as being a legal documented worker. It wasn't a corporate kinda setting where those kinda formalities were done."

LOL... This girl is cray cray... all she had to do was say No, I didn't it wasn't that serious. Instead she starts about legal documentation... She makes no sense to me.

She doesn't know what worker's comp is. lol

I'm not totally convinced of that because as a quasi professional 'photographer' (as she claims) she would know that the memory card is never 100% deletable. Just like most novice computer users know, the motherboard is not 100% erasable. If it's digitally made, it's almost certain it can be digitally reproduced.
So why chance it?

The memory card (the coup de gras) that contains photos of her with time stamp dates---- is the size of a large postage stamp. And the camera itself is certainly smaller than a gun, clothes, rope and possible knife put together.

At that point (of deciding NOT to take the camera or memory card) she might as well have left her autograph on it along with an apology note!
(and people call her smart?)

IMO and I've said this before, Arias is far more tech savvy than she's leading us to believe. I stand by my statement before that this monster knows to how to use proxy servers, spoof email addresses, change the timestamps on photos, and install keylogging software.

The ONLY reason that she left the memory card in the camera was because she FORGOT to remove it in her haste to get the heck of our Travis' house. She had limited time to clean up the scene before Enrique came home from work.

The whole story about the scratched CDs is a crock as well as anybody that's been taking photos and trying to make a living at it would protect those CD(s) with some form of jacket or sleeve.

In Arias' fable, every tech device she touches either gets lost or breaks down, i.e. hard drive failure, lost cameras, cell phones in hot chocolate, etc. I've been in the systems business for 30+ years and only had one hard drive failure from which I was able to recover the lost data.

I'd like to hear JM ask her about the sequence of phones in her time with Travis, month-by-month. Which phone did she have and when ? There are so many lies embedded deep in her story it would take an army of investigators to unravel them.

Fortunately for us, the monster speaks English and is contradicting herself at every twist and turn.

There is rock solid evidence, right here.

Good morning everybody!

A jury question asked yesterday really got me thinking. The question was in regards to the grandparent's stolen gun. Was it ever recovered? Jodi answered that it had not been recovered, almost like an after thought.

The gun is very important. It proves Jodi premeditated this murder or Travis owned a gun and that gun was used to kill him.

Why aren't there searches being done by Jodi's family and people hired by the defense to go to the area where Jodi says she got rid of the gun?

YOU can tell when her answer is a lie because she refuses to address the exact question. She said "Non of the stolen property has been recovered"

OK say the word GUN Jodi.. Say it... Say My Grandfathers GUN has not been found. But if you take the I15 North through the desert, pass Las Vegas, and Continue North to Utah, look on your right...

When you question a suspect in a crime, or interview a witness, there are many small things to look for. One is the inability for them to say a certain word...Not even a curse word or a sexual word, just a WORD that might have descriptive properties. They can't do it. This is what gives you additional information when you walk away, you now look deeper at this person as they are possibly hiding something.

I forgot about that phone call!

Still don't think she alerted him she was on the way. Don't know what could have been talked about in those 2 min.

It certainly didn't give her cause to STOP and THINK.

Move on to her 'original' itinerary. The one she told people about anyway!

Did she know she threw the camera in the wash,or was it just grabbed up with the clothes and bedding?

Love your name BTW :)
The last position it was in that we know of was on the floor facing the bathroom (accident picture). Remember that the accident pictures were even deleted so at some point after Travis was already dead and she was in clean up mode she had that camera in her hands and was deleting. Which makes me believe that she purposely threw the camera in the washer in the hopes of water logging it and destroying it.
She didn't want to take it with her, because she didn't want it to look like it was a robbery. Remember in the interview with Flores she says "Nothing was taken was it?"

I agree, Travis may not have been the angel he claimed to be, he liked sex and wasnt supposed to.... does that make it ok for her to murder him? NO WAY!

...

ETA - and Travis NEVER said 12 years olds turned him on, obviously you didnt listen to the tape very clearly.

<snipped>

I just posted the tape and an article above. Is the fact that he found the idea of a 12 year old having an orgasm arousing not disturbing to you?

Is there anyway the jury can be told she knew the questions befor the judge asked them!

You can believe whatever you want but there is no EVIDENCE that Travis was a pedophile.

No we will never stop portraying Travis as the VICTIM of a psychopath. It is demeaning to MURDERED victims everywhere to do anything less than that. Just for your information this is a pro-victim site.

The jurors are not stupid. Judging by their questions they have been listening intently to her story. I am pretty sure her dancing around answering the questions is not going unnoticed. The more she talks the more damage she doing to herself, although she thinks the more info she gives them the more they will believe her. Jodys excessive talking is doing Jody no good.

If a movie is ever made about her it would be titled:

Born Liar The Story of a Cold Blooded Killer

Now I hearing she never had an eye exam ????

Did schools stop testing ?

Dayum, she was driving like that..".now that's craaaaaaaaaazy

I know, she had to have had them tested when she got her initial driver's license. Doesn't CA require a test each time license is renewed?

Question: Can JM have an advocate for battered women testify her opinion that JA is not a battered woman and that it's insulting to women who are in fact abused?

Or better yet, that HER behavior fits the profile of an abusive person toward Travis. Which it was....

1. Stalking
2. Intimidating (slashing tires, email)
3. Violating personal boundaries (home, internet accounts)
4. Being a financial burden
5. Being very charming, then very demanding or angry (high "highs" and low "lows")
6. Being controlling

And the list goes on.
