100 questions from the jury: Arias answering on her 16th day on the stand #75

Good morning everybody!

A jury question asked yesterday really got me thinking. The question was in regards to the grandparent's stolen gun. Was it ever recovered? Jodi answered that it had not been recovered, almost like an after thought.

The gun is very important. It proves Jodi premeditated this murder or Travis owned a gun and that gun was used to kill him.

Why aren't there searches being done by Jodi's family and people hired by the defense to go to the area where Jodi says she got rid of the gun?

She did take a long time, comparatively speaking, to answer that question. I think the wheels were spinning and she was trying to decide what answer would be best - found or not found.

Most respectfully, you do understand pedophiles have only sexual desires and arousal for children not grown women at all.. They entire focus is on children whether it be female or male. If he was pedophile, Travis would not EVER have any relationship with Jodi or any female.

Many pedophiles are married and have children of their own (Sandusky, for example). However, there has been no evidence to suipport that Travis was a pedophile.

What I thought was interesting with some of the questions was when JA would start babbling and Nurmi would object. JA was going on and on, but Nurmi tried to object and make her stop talking before she did too much damage.

No we will never stop portraying Travis as the VICTIM of a psychopath. It is demeaning to MURDERED victims everywhere to do anything less than that. Just for your information this is a pro-victim site.

And yes, supporting a victim is important.

But turning a blind eye to things that may be important to the case is dangerous.

Prosecutor does have a shrink who is testifying. She's the one that got her laptop stolen.

Of course you are entitled to your opinion. I just don't see what evidence you are seeing that show he was a pedophile other than her word, which is pretty much bogus.

The prosecutor PROVED her story bogus for that day. Through her own journals. The fact she couldn't have even been there because she was at work. And the only issue on that day was another JA trick to keep him from having his own transportation since she refused to return his own car!!!

Oh and he wasn't home either. Needed to get ride home then to church because she hi jacked his car. ( when she had her own!)

To ME, he is saying she sounded very high pitched and almost OVER exhuberated - -ish, very animated. And he liked it.

Okay, so she does not say that Casa Ramos did not carry Workmans Comp insurance, just that they weren't formal and didn't have her fill out forms.
I work for the largest US employer, if I cut my finger at work and I don't receive medical treatment than I don't have to fill out any sort of form. Does not mean they don't carry Workmans Comp Insurance... just means that I didn't deem my injury bad enough to fill out a report.

ETA: I'm gonna drag myself to the Youtube video to clear my own mind about what she claims...

I worked in the office of a small construction company. The company's insurance provider got pretty exercised over not reporting injuries. They didn't like having someoone pop up later claiming they need physical therapy or surgery later for an injury the ins. company hadn't heard about. Even if the employee never made a claim, they wanted to know. So I always reported everything to avoid my bosses wrath LOL. I didn't have the employees fill the form out; they were out in the field and just gave me the info, so I filled the forms out. I can see small businesses discouraging people from reporting injuries. It's really shortsigted, but I can see some doing it.

The interesting thing to me yesterday was that Jodi said she had the splint on one day at work. And over all these years the defense couldn't track down a co-worker who saw it? And an injury so serious that her finger is permanently disabled but she never got any medical care, and only wore the splint for a day or two?

Watching this video from dr drew and I noticed at 15 seconds in Travis says the word gun and jodi suddenly wakes up, or so it seems.

Yes, and I'm sure Travis had already told Jodi about that near death incident, and isn't it funny that when she shot him it was in the same exact spot, so I think it was symbolic for her to shoot him there. CREEPY.

seriously, a comment like this one or the one he made is just that---a comment. it's not 'evidence' that someone has a sexual attraction to children. that's just ridiculous. this is sexual fantasy talk and as far as i know, it's not a crime.

I just want to preface what I'm about to write by saying that I do not intend to blame the victim.

Travis Alexander did not deserve to die, but he was recorded on audio saying that 12-year old girls arouse him. And it's pretty clear that he was, with all due respect, kind of a creep towards women.

I just feel like the coverage of this case is so black in white, painting Travis as a saint and Jodi as the devil itself.

To be clear: I believe that Jodi Arias should be locked up forever and have the key thrown away. Travis Alexander did not deserve to die, he did not deserve to be stalked. She mutilated him. I find it incredibly hard to believe that she killed him in self-defense.

But I do believe that Jodi is telling the truth about his pedophilia and abuse, based on the evidence. Just because he was also attracted to full-grown women does not make him less of a pedophile. The victim was obviously not some kind of angel or saint. Can we stop portraying him as one? It is demeaning to abuse victims everywhere to minimize the danger of pedophilia.

Is there any room for someone with my opinion on this forum? Everyone is baying for blood >>

You do have to "buy" her 3rd story of defense/abuse/Travis was a pedophile.

However, there is no evidence of Travis being a pedophile. Only Arias' "word". Of course, if her "word" is true, it is demeaning to victims of pedophilia. But no evidence whatsoever was found in his home, his computer etc. There is not one "child" coming out and saying Travis was innapropriate to him/her. Not one parent coming forward and saying "hey, Jodi Arias is right, Travis Alexander is a pedophile". It is Jodi Arias "saying" he was a pedophile. And she is a proven liar.

May I ask what you consider evidence that he was a pedophile, and physically and sexually abused her, besides her accusation?

The "sex tape"? What people do in their private sexual lives~is their business. I am not in any way into this, but yeah, men AND women play games like that. Catholic school girl fantasy~but it's a fantasy and does not mean it is acted upon. That "sex tape" shows Jodi was fully "into it" and going along with sex talk and she admits, while some of it was "debasing", she admits on the tape, that she LIKES it.

Look, many men use women for sex. It's an old story: Woman likes man, wants a relationship. Man & woman have sex. Man is not interested in having a full out relationship with said woman. He tells her that. Woman thinks if she gives him sex, that will change his mind. Man does not change his mind. Woman keeps going back still thinking man will change his mind.

There would be A LOT of dead men if women who were used killed the men that used them.

Not all of his kids are his and if you talk to his wife you will find that he isn't into women. imo
