She had years to come up with answers and the jury doesn't buy it. Reviewing the questions ahead of time won't matter to a jury who already knows she's a liar.

In her interrogation, she said that Travis liked to shave the old fashioned way, with a strop, brush, etc. But now she seemed very quick to deny that he ever had a straight razor. I;m thinking she probably used it on him during the slaughter.

Anyone who doesn't at this time is likely the type that would be worried about an appeal the moment "guilty" comes out of the clerk's mouth so IMO, there's no point to try to convince them anymore.

Think of it as you are calling your dog and he comes tail wagging and you are just about to hook him to the leash and a rabbit darts by. I can't be fully happy until he is hooked and safely in the house.

Off subject but the site is working well today because my puppy's ear is flapping like crazy!

she gets digs in against Travis every chance she gets. Which I assumed will not go unoticed by the jury.

I think she realized it for sure yesterday, though. She's had overnight to trip off that question about her "mental illness." That's what got her really-really mad at Travis, I think, when he finally called her a sociopath.

Now a juror or two are outing her sickness in front of all of America. So yes, she's starting to see the writing on the wall. These jurors aren't buying her crap. She's crumbling inside unlike on any day we've seen before.

I wonder how the DT feels about their client's "performance" yesterday and today? Does anyone think that they're pleased with her answers/excuses/explanations?

Would that explain the stab wounds to the back though? :waitasec:

No...and it doesn't explain the slit throat either.

There is no way possible for a straight razor to slit someone's throat all the way back to the spinal column...without multiple slashes, and we would know if that was the case.

Think about the size of the blade on a straight razor! It's not going to cut 4 inches deep into the throat in one slice.

As graphic as all that is, sorry.

Add to that the famous shaving picture he is using a REGULAR razor!

I don't know why... But today I feel like reaching out, hugging her mother, and whispering to her that its not her fault, she did the best she could.. Not to blame herself.

You are a nice person. I am more cynical - I think some parents do what's easiest for themselves, and not what's best for their kids. We don't know what kind of parent she is/was, but I do think Jodi was always a handfull and maybe at some point she threw her hands up and said "I give up". It's not totally a parent's fault how their child turns out, but they did have a hand in it - even if just via enabling.

She wants they jury to see her as harmless. Like Norman Bates when his mother took over.

They know I can't even move a finger, and I won't. I'll ... I'm not even gonna swat that fly. I hope they are watching. They'll see. They'll see and they'll know, and they'll say, "Why, she wouldn't even harm a fly."

Does anyone remember if the ME mentioned the neck wound being caused by a straight edge or serrated edge?

Straight I think
