Question I have been mulling over.....can a ME tell the angle of a knife wound? Would the decomp process have made that impossible due to dehydration, bloating etc.? I was trying to imagine how Jodi could have stabbed him as he rose from the sitting position (in the shower). I think that picture of Travis's face is the beginning of him starting to realize that crazy Jodi is in house. If he received that would be fatal wound first and she kept stabbing while he staggered to the sink.....then the back wounds were inflicted. Did he try, with the last ounce of adrenalin, to get up the hallway towards the exit where she finally cut his throat. She must have been afraid of what would happen if any of that blood got in hall outside the bedroom; hence a brutal slash to the throat.

WHAT, there is a hidden drive in there? How is that photo permanently stuck in there! My leg looks 12" wide! it is NOT i swear! I am a size 5 or so! (used to be size 18 ... so you can see why this must never get out) If I threw this phone in a bin behind a gas station, someone would have that photo up on Facebook in about 3 hours.. "hey guys what is this a photo of? big patch of land? i can't tell?"

I just now came to this thread after catching up on the previous thread from last night. There was a lengthy discussion going on about pedophilia (why do I hate that I can now spell that word without spell check kicking in?). I couldn't comment because that thread is closed. I just wanted to say that it appears Travis had lots and lots of friends, and I imagine most, if not all are Mormon. Mormons tend to have large families. If Travis was a pedophile wouldn't there be testimony from SOMEONE/ANYONE that they didn't want Travis around their children? Would he have so many "married with children" friends that adored him? (Rhetorical questions, just thinking out loud.)

It really doesn't matter what TA may have ever, ever, ever did to JA (which I will never believe the evil lies she spews), he never deserved what she did and her story is a total lie. Turn left and Travis lives, even if you believe her story. I doubt we can even imagine the horror of what really went on there that day. Legally, she did not kill him in self defense. No matter how much character assassination she pulls, by the letter of the law she committed first degree, premeditated murder.
And what was she gonna do with an unloaded gun? Oh yeah! Throw it at him. Oh my...

Pardon me for being dumb, at least about guns. So I read Grandpa said his .25 caliber looked like a toy gun and Jodi says something about a holster now and Travis had a .25 caliber too. Ahem. Soo, why do I picture a six shooter and Matt Dillion type gun in my head? This woman has got me to thinking of her yanking this six shooter out of a holster and pointing at him, while he's dripping water and naked. Not that I believe a word of this, mind you.
I think she went for the "heartbeat" of her d**do...as Travis told her he felt like thats all he was to her. As DD said; no genitalia injuries either, interesting.

Good post. I don't see TA as a saint, or non-saint. I see him as a human being. Fallible, not perfect. I also don't see the sex, if any or if all, as being good, bad, etc. It appeared to be (from the liar's mouth, of course) just sex. Consensual sex. Different strokes for different folks.

..and I will add, that obstacles he overcame from his childhood make him an even more beautiful person. The fact that he became an ADULT and felt compelled to share his message of overcoming his childhood makes him a very special human being.

Hi all. Been up since 4:15 and it took some 3 hours just to catch up on yesterday's posts. Had to finish watching the questions yesterday on HLN instead of online, ticks me off that HLN is what, 2 hours behind? I'm not hip to what happened to In Session. During trial time they now don't have it in my time zone, they're showing BS shows.

She sounds like a twelve year old any way. Some of the ways she describes things are the way a child would. ex: "Travis is mean" That's what a little kid would say to describe someone being angry or mad...

She used the word attribute yesterday in the right context but pronounced it the way you do for the other meaning. It was a hoot!

Telling to me yesterday, with regard to your thoughts, is the way Ms. Arias looked before she had to take the stand. She was way ugly, even looked angry during all those darned side bars. I don't think it was lost on her or her lawyers that those questions, which they got to see between 9 and 10 a.m. were not leading to the jury believing her bs. I didn't hear very many questions that led me to think the jury bought her lies. But she loves the attention, once she got to the stand the performance began.

BBM- that part has kept me awake at night. I think if we actually knew what happened, it would exceed our wildest nightmares. I'm of the camp that he never saw it coming. It was the purest, most awful sucker punch that gave her an insurmountable advantage.

For me, not knowing anything prior to trial, it was all over with the stabs to the back. Nine iirc, showing (imo) beyond a shadow of a doubt that he was no longer a threat. What followed was rage, nothing more.

They've done zero to even suggest self defense, much less prove it.

I think I may have mentioned something like this last night, but I was so tired, so I'm going to throw it out there again. When asked about her relationship with her parents, Jodi sealed her fate with her explanation of how her relationship with her mother is "complicated" and how her relationship with her father is one where she doesn't care to spend too much time with him. Add these two important relationships to the string of breakups with cheating boyfriends and you continue to have someone who seems to have a problem forming healthy relationships. There has been no mention of any close female friends at all, that I can recall. Everyone else cannot all be to blame, and I have no doubt that Jodi is incapable of forming a healthy bond with anyone, including her own parents. We haven't heard too much about her relationships with her siblings, other than she hit her younger brother over the head with a baseball bat. Hmmmmm......
