I think she messed up a few times.

1. She admitted that she was not sure if TA was following her when she went and got the gun. She said she just thought he might have been. Does her self defense claim go out the window there?

2. The holster. She first throw in that detail, the gun was in a holster, a couple of days ago. Then today when she was asked what happened to it, she seemed tp imply that she took it home with her. For that to be possible she would have had to go back up to that top shelf AFTER the murder and retrieve it.

Any other mess ups?

Linda first thank you for this.. I was really hungry and I'm on a forever diet and this has significantly helped me:rocker:
Also it's soo freaking gross... man can't she put some make up on that?:what:

:great:bet she's hating not having oodles of make- up to cover it up like her hickies.... er, I mean 'neck' that time she got bruises:waitasec:

She was looking real spacey for awhile there waiting for the new questions.
But she wasn't shaking:rocker:or nervous one iota!

Wait a 'sec...isn't he in Lynyrd Skynyrd??
:waitasec:

Why yes, I think it could be...and I wonder if he's back there humming the song "Gimmie back my Bullets"?

Ok so I can tell based off the HILARIOUS posts in this thread that we are all feeling very relieved after hearing the jury questions???

I kept thinking in the back of my mind they have to convict her right? And then a split second later a little voice would say well you thought that about Casey Anthony too.

Hearing these questions there is absolutely no question in my mind that they are letting her walk. And I gather by their disdain for her they are going to be giving her death.

Oh please say you mean they are NOT letting her walk.

at her, Nurmi, their joke of a defense and pissed is not a good way to leave your jurors in a death penalty case.

They aren't asking normal evidence type questions to clarify things, they're jerking her around and calling her out. It's beyond bizarre, but enjoyable to someone in a jurisdiction that doesn't have juror questions. Gotta love it. And, honestly, I think it could also help people who are actually innocent but where the way evidence is presented/excluded etc it looks bad against them. I bet savvy jurors could also use this opportunity to find out the truth in that type of case.

It goes to show that the jury doesn't care, they know she is lieing.
At this point I don't even know what she is saying or talking about.

Is the jury able to put questions in the basket during THIS time? Sure hope so.
Another question - nurmi, then Juan, then does nurimi get another shot?

Being fairly new still, I want to thank Websleuths for providing such a wonderful place to talk with fellow crime justice advocates. It has probably saved my family relationships.

I am retired, live alone and none of my many grown children have interest in this. The one that's living with me (I should say sleeping here at night) is courteous and asks the required "so how's the trial going today, Mom?" but there is no one to call and say, "SHE JUST MICROSMILED WHEN SHE SAID THAT--DID YOU SEE IT?"

I feel like I'm not alone in wanting to restore my faith in the American system of justice. I was a wall-to-wall CourtTV watcher before they turned into mush and I can see that Wildabouttrial is going to carry the mantle now that Insession is folding its tent. Hopefully she will come here to let us help her get that rolling and keep our fav commentators (Beth/Katie).

I always feel better after coming here, even if posters fight and there are misunderstandings, it's free speech and we're a family in support of the victims. Thanks so much for all the work you do, Nursebeeme, and your helpers.

I had gone back and listened to that day. He was going really good on the magazines, then they got sidetracked onto the guy she was trying to get them out to, and it fizzled from there.
I hope JM brings in the jail person that found this and it will refresh the jury's memory about this issue, because I think this is a huge deal.:seeya:

I'm pretty sure JM did exactly what he needed to do with this line of questioning, and I've said many times I think it is an absolutely huge, key attack on her baseless charges of pedophilia.

I think the questions he asked laid the necessary/legal foundation he's saving for a rebuttal or closing argument--that he'll link together, forcefully, in plain English, the fact she tried to get MM to tell the lie that Travis was a pedophile AND the fact he can PROVE via evidence of their texts and calls that January 21 and her "discovery" of Travis and that photo could not possibly have happened.

I also think he's saving this slam for later when it won't get lost in the weeds or dimmed by days of other testimony. He knows that if he can prove JA is lying about Travis being a pedophile, he can almost certainly secure a DP verdict.

AHHHHH...I missed it up until now. I need the Cliff's Notes. Pretty please with a cherry on top. ;)

At this point, I feel like it's over and the jury will come back with a guilty of 1st degree murder and LWOP sentence.

I think they will see her as so emotionally disturbed that they'll forego the death penalty, just cos she's a nutcase and that will be a DP mitigator for them.

Which is fine with me. She's nuts. But the lock on her cell door needs to be permanent with no opportunity for release. This woman is dangerous.

All the State has to do is prove premeditation. And not only has that been accomplished but by Jodi answering questions, it's been solidified!

I don't think there's a single person alive who feels, I mean REALLY feels, this could've possibly have been a spur-of-the-moment, impromptu, self-defensive killing.

She left California---- while suspiciously trekking her way through 3-states ----to carry out her motive! And she successfully butchered this poor man in what should've been, the safety of his own home, as planned!

Premeditation has been proven to the exclusion and beyond any reasonable cast of doubt.

Juan Martinez hardly needed to show up!

Judge: "....wait a second...what's this? Ladies and gentlemen, it appears that in addition to the jurors' questions, there is a question that has been submitted by defense counsel. I will read it to you, Miss Arias, and you may respond yes or no."
Arias: "Yes ma'am."
Judge: "The question is: "Would you be terribly upset if we just left? Both of us?"

OK I can't stop laughing LOLLLL :floorlaugh:

She did not want to go see Ryan and be a total Ice Queen.

Well, to be fair, when I'm afraid I may be coming off as an Ice Queen, I always straddle the midsection of the people around me, too. It's a real ice breaker.

Every time I hear her talk about him grabbing at her clothes or being on all fours it makes me feel sick and sad. I think those are both actually things that happened.

Yes, I think she mixes lies with the truth. Just like when she said he was on all fours and screamed that he couldn't feel his legs, it was the truth. His body was starting to shut down just before he collapsed. I despise her. Poor Travis.
