In speaking about her breakup, it sounded like she said it wasn't "vulla tile".

Now, I've heard of:

  • Unglazed Ceramic Tile,
  • Glazed Ceramic Tile,
  • Porcelain Tile,
  • Terra-cotta Tile,
  • Mosaic Tile,
  • Quarry Tile,
  • Natural Stone Tile,
  • Marble Tile,
  • Granite Tile, and
  • Slate Tile.

But Vulla Tile?

Now she's even a flooring expert.

Don't believe me?

She told us yesterday that Travis's bathroom floor tile was slippery when wet.

By now the jury is highly pissed with nurmi! And JA

Is anyone typing a list of juror questions? I still don't know the last question. Anyone please? Thank you.

How did Nurmi ever get to represent a client in a death penalty case when I would not trust or hire him to get me out of a speeding ticket?

The Baez Effect, minus a brain-dead jury

One thing I can't figure out is when she shot Travis his momentem knocked them both down.
So if she was hit by him falling why wouldn't another shot have been fired from the gun just from the impact of his body contacting her and knocking her down.
Her finger would still have been on the trigger as she had just shot him and according to her.
A semi automatic reloads a shell into the chamber ready to fire as soon as a fired round leaves the barrel.
So if someone has just hit you and was knocking you down and they still had the gun in their hand with their finger on the trigger and being knocked down backwards it would be human nature to squeese the trigger as you were toppling over.
So I believe the shot couldn't have happend like she said it did .
Another shot would have been fired and it wasn't.
Either the gun jammed or she lied about where she was standing when the gun fired the first time.
Any gun owners on here care to comment on this??

I'm actually wondering if one of the thrown out questions was about the writing in the magazines. It seemed to me that Martinez dropped that fairly quickly without ever getting into the meaning behind it. Then, Nurmi did no follow up on re-direct. I'm really thinking something happened either in a hearing or sidebar that made that no longer viable to discuss.

It just seemed very strange to me that Martinez didn't wrap that point up...though he could be saving it for rebuttal.

re the magazines

I don't think they are at all relevant to this trial and wonder if the court and jury see it the same way.

They came well after the crime. If I was in jail and innocent ( it happens) and my friend had screwed up a deposition, I might do the same thing. Because I was innocent.

Witness tampering and breaking jail rules, drfinitely.

Indication of guilt, not so sure

This is good for the prosecution - I'm sure the jurors have had more than their fill of Ms. Arias and her rambling answers and now Nurmi and his rambling questions causing Ms. Arias to ramble even more - when will it ever end?????

take her to task. I'm appalled that any legitimate "expert" would lend any credibility to a murderer. Not just because it's reprehensible in itself but because it could seriously impact REAL battered women.

This is a high profile trial. People will remember an expert had no problem testifying for this faker and thus use it to impugn future testimony by actually battered women and their advocates/experts.
Using a high profile expert is nothing new. It's disgusting and degrading to the legal system and victims, but not new.

If you are really interested and want some reading material while Nurmi goes on and on, I would suggest:

OK, I am in the country so forgive me, but when I think of the jury question "Why should we believe you now?" I keep thinking of the country song, "How do you like me now?" and hearing it to that tune.

Why should we believe you now?

We still think you're crazy

She doesn't mind popping around the countryside or even fly international to confront ex-boyfriends does she? Also really got a kick out of her answer yesterday where she thought her boyfriends always cheated on her because she gave them TOO MUCH freedom to do what they liked. Obsessional lover much? Basically the second they sleep with her she thinks she has the god given right to brow beat them and monitor their behaviour whether it's a committed relationship or NOT, if they sleep with another woman she considers them transgressors even if they've already broken up! She has no issue driving 2.5 hours to confront Travis' friends about not 'liking' her? The woman is seriously deluded .. it'd be freaking sad if it hadn't ended in murder.

The question about JA being unscathed while Travis was stabbed and had his throat cut open made me cry. This is a slam dunk case. Poor Travis. Imagine if he could actually watch all that is going on? Like that novel about a young girl who is raped and murdered? She can actually see everything that is happening post-murder. His heart would break that not only was he brutally murdered but that the worst of the worst accusations are being hurled at him.

Rest in peace, Travis.
