I am as interested as anyone in this trial. I have been anticipating it since I watched the original episode on 48 Hours several years ago. I have been disappointed, time and time again, in all the delays in getting it to trial.

I have scheduled my days and activities around the testimony and always made sure I had a television or computer or iPad near me and available to watch.

Having said that, I am done. I cannot listen to Nurmi and Jodi drone on and on about irrelevant, inconsequential matters completely unrelated to the core issues here, namely, the death of Travis at Jodi's malevolent hands.

It is making me frustrated at JM and the judge, who are neither objecting to, nor limiting this testimony. I am aware this case is not being pursued for my entertainment. I know it is a DP case, but there are still parameters that should be followed. This is a waste of taxpayer dollars and the jurors' time. I will be back when and if JM ever gets another turn at examining Jodi or the other witnesses the defense intends to call.

I will tune in for the rebuttal. This is beyond absurd.

That is all.

THis whole thing about knowing about the gun FROM Travis....would have come up on direct. She only* talking about finding it when cleaning. THere is no way Nurmi would have let the whole conversation about the gun lay dormant had it really been true. Jodi ADDED that in during cross I think, didn't she?

wow she was trying to think of a lie...about the gun..actually this gives her time to make something up..

I live in Phx have family in Glendora, CA takes 6hrs everyone stops for In & Out in Palm Springs give me a flipping break.. there's a couple of stretches of 60-70 miles without stops that's about it anymore there's gas station every 100 miles at least this is not 1940s need to put water in radiators & crap!

Exactly!!! I live in the Phoenix area. My grandma and dad live in Glendora too. I can make it there on one tank of gas. I might stop for food or a bathroom break, but there aren't really long stretches of nothing. Not so much so that I ever felt the need to carry gas cans!

I would buy a charger for my phone before using gas cans!

The nurmification of the jury. Numi's way of stopping any further jury questions. There should be mental health professionals made available to the jury after listening to all the psychobabble. I can only imagine what some of the (no offense to older guys) them may be muttering under their breath.

Every thing she can't explain comes from some one that is dead--can't ask a dead person.
Maybe he got it out of a bubble gum machine

Quick look at her Mom's face not smiling tells me her Mom knows now she'll get the DP.

Now Nurmi has time to coach her

is and is doing the best he can with objections. In a normal courtroom this wouldn't be going on. I've never seen this amount of "leeway" granted to ANYONE in a trial. Days upon days of her non-stop testibaloney. It's really up the Judge to set the pace and limit things and move them along. At this point no one can argue the defense hasn't been able to put on their case. She really needs to step up-not fair to the jury nor the victim.

De-stress. This testimony is just bizarre.

I am becoming more and more curious about how Nurmi does in other courtrooms with less lenient judges and more argumentative opposing counsel. I understand why Juan is letting her ramble and ramble hoping to catch additional lies, but it sure would be interesting to see Nurmi in a non-death-penalty trial where these shenanigans aren't allowed and Nurmi himself cannot testify as he has been doing throughout.

I've driven through AZ in the summer and not very familiar where and when I might find a gas station, but come on in the very hot summer of AZ temperatures of 104-120 degrees, I just don't believe anybody would, I wouldn't, carry a flammable liquid like gas. I don't buy this new excuse she created a day or so ago.

Everything she's said today is just more liar, liar pants on fire. She wasn't jealous of Travis my azz.
Perhaps our resident physicist can calculate how much the gas in the cans would expand per change in temperature, and the corresponding vapor concentration in her trunk... with the flashpoint included. :hills:

Crap. Now she has time to work on her gun story.

If I was on the jury, I'd go MIA right about now!

Tag Team Nookie??

Snce Jodi pushed herself into any situation Travis had with another women maybe this was a solution to the problem. Jodi can be the third person standing outside the window watching!
