Did you see her facial expressions. Talking to herself, biting her lips and smacking them, as she reading. At one point she made a face like she was going to hurl.

“Lying isn’t typically something I just do. I’m not going to say that I never told a lie in my life before this incident. But the lies that I’ve told in this case can be tied directly back to either protecting Travis’ reputation or my involvement in his death in any way. Because I was very ashamed of the death and also because I wanted to edify Travis in a good way. I didn’t want to de-edify him or say hateful things about him especially now that he had passed away. And I also didn’t want that to be construed as motive. For example, if he was violent with me,” said Arias.

Is she really stupid enough to think anyone would buy that BS? Or does she think if she uses enough words it will confuse the jury into thinking she lied for a good reason, to protect Travis's image. I think it has been well demonstrated that her lies were not limited to this situation. Of course she would just say she lied in those instances to help someone else. Isn't she a saint?

Yes!! she didn't even answer the question, she talked in riddles....and another thing quite telling when she said And I also didn’t want that to be construed as motive
She is telling us and the jury although I lied before if I make up this story about abuse, please don't misconstue that as another motive for me to kill him....IMO

Thank you for posting this. I commented on her answer earlier, but it's good to see it in writing. It's a classic non-answer and I would be pissed if I was on the jury that she didn't try to put herself in their shoes. I think she is incapable of empathy.

Can't Juan just throw up the picture of JA with her hand around TA's neck with the water in the background and simply state...

"Premeditation. All the way back to this time when she was clearly trying to choke Travis."

“Lying isn’t typically something I just do. WAIT...that's a lie.I’m not going to say that I never told a lie in my life before this incident.because I totally did, I mean...I'm totally edifying that. But the lies that I’ve told in this case can be tied directly back to either protecting Travis’ reputation or my involvement in his death in any way.Wait, that's a effing lie too...what was the question? I think JM should, when his turn comes, stand up and yell, "BOO" right in Jodis' face! Then ask, "are you shaking, now"?

He'd probably get an 'OBJECTION!' for that but it would be worth watching! :floorlaugh:

What is Jodi cramming for? The tissue to the nose is a nice touch if she were human and I was an idiot.

Her "art" is as flat as her affect.

I wish I could hear what the judge was saying. She looks completely aggravated right now.

Judge Stephens: Miss 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬, er, Miss Arias, please take the stand. Not that it makes any difference, but you do realize that you are still under oath, correct?

I have named her herpes sore Hermes. I think he could tell us a lot of very disturbing things! Someone should start a twitter page for Jodi's herpes lesion!

So that's not really a bad thing. I mean, I think the important part of that statement is that the jury wants clarification, but Jodi isn't giving it to them. IMO, Jodi, no matter how smart she thinks she is, is really her own worst enemy.

I agree that she IS her own worst enemy on the stand with these questions. Without Nurmi coaching her the whole way thru, she's getting her lies confused. Like how she claims TA said he was going to kill her AFTER she already shot him AND you gotta love that she says very assertively that SHE absolutely has NO mental condition and has nothing wrong with her. When the jury is deliberating they could feel bad and give her life -as opposed to death- if they believed that she has something really screwed up (which she does) going on up in that scrambled brain of hers. I really think that the jury has made up their mind that they're going to convict her and are using these questions as JA's last attempt to convince them that she should get life over death and imo she is coming off more colder, calculated, and more manipulative than ever. Just the recipe for choosing death as the punishment instead of giving her life, imo.

They must be trying to see how much time they can waste so JA can study her lines.
