After the Amish Dressing Gown debacle from yesterday, the mitigation specialist must have brought Jodi this peppy cranberry number from her own wardrobe. So they could match.

If Travis had sent jodi text messages in May (I don't know the dates) telling her she was psychotic and to leave him alone etc etc...then why would he care where she was going on her road trip in June? I say read his text messages, then go to her trip and there is no way travis was asking her to come by and see him or actually have any contact with her.
Does anyone know if the text messages were before or after the so-called sex recording she did ?

I *think* the phone recording was May 10 2008. The text messages were in late May 2008. (but he sent her a scathing one in April 2008, too, I believe - which gives her a reason to tape him secretly out of vengeance).

Is there anything on God's green earth that can make her SHUT UP????? I can't even begin to imagine the head games she played with Travis.

He was very naive. He had probably only known those Mormon girls who are fairly refined and softly spoken and truly nice. (Yeah, it's a stereotype but I've spent a fair amt of time in Utah and my DH lived there for a while and we're not at all religious but we always found Mormons to be some of the nicest people...I digress-but I always invite them in when we get the Missionaries out here in rural New England-not much LDS out here and they haven't got a chance in hell (ha!) of converting us Catholics and Episcopalians). She could put on an act as a nice girl with an edge and then she roped him in and he never had a chance once he began to figure it out and tried to get away.

is and is doing the best he can with objections. In a normal courtroom this wouldn't be going on. I've never seen this amount of "leeway" granted to ANYONE in a trial. Days upon days of her non-stop testibaloney. It's really up the Judge to set the pace and limit things and move them along. At this point no one can argue the defense hasn't been able to put on their case. She really needs to step up-not fair to the jury nor the victim.

I'm guessing because this is a DP case, she's proceeding with extreme caution. At the end of it all, it would be a shame to have a guilty verdict overturned on appeal.

Actually the term "choked out" does indeed mean to be choked to the point of unconsciousness. tapping out is not choking out. They are different terms with two different meanings.

Regardless, they are both "fight" terms and both are used in the UFC and other MMA style sports. So your point is valid still.
