14yo Girl gets her wish to be LE from Make A Wish

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (WKRC/KMOV) -- Fourteen-year-old Jalisha Pegues loves reading and cooking, and when she grows up, she wants to be a cop. Jalisha, from St. Louis, is also battling End Stage Renal Disease. Today, Make-A-Wish Missouri granted her wish to become a police officer for a day.

How awesome! Years ago I worked at Toys R Us in the national office. I had the honor of setting up shopping " wishes" for the Michigan area Make A Wish. It was by far the best part of my job. Together we would pick a date and time. I would ensure the Geoffrey mascot was there, along with a decorated shopping cart, balloons, and a Toys R Us shopping assistant. The people from Make A Wish are a very special breed. :loveyou:
