Some locals were asking about this case and I couldn’t find any information, looks to be unsolved. Joseph DeAngelo was in the area at this time. Kelly was killed in September? 1975

The first crime thought to be connected to the rapist took place on June 18, 1976, when a man broke into a home in Rancho Cordova, a Sacramento suburb, and assaulted a woman in her home.

What if Kelly actually was his first victim? The communities are just a few miles apart.

No, they know who did it. Her sister and best friend filed everyone in on that Facebook post. They know who did it but he is in prison for life for another murder so they didnt prosecute. They didnt say the name though. You can tell they are still very VERY affected by this.
