But why would they continue to investigate a case where they were prevented from making an arrest? The SA's words implied that he would not charge the alleged perp, so what would be the point?

IMO It would have been nice if --- Since only one can talk talk and said it was self defense. They should not arrested him till they get a thorough investigation. But tell him, that he cannot leave the State because it is under investigation to make sure that everything happened as he claims. They should have instantly called back Trayvons last call, They should have sent George to the hospital for a check and told the Martins it is under full investigation . They had a right to know, they would have accepted an investigation.
Instead one Detective tells them He thinks GZ should be charged, and from there these people can do nothing but get angry….I’d be P.O’d
Now we are where we are.
IMO since one could NOT talk that should have at least been handled In a way that would respect the family in finding justice, and it would also give a message to REAL vigilante types that we take the Law seriously, IF you indeed defended yourself , sorry, but OK HOWEVER be sure that it will be investigated.

But sadly we do not live in a simple world.
it is also a money machine. Not just human tragedy.

K.. first half of the show FT shares that the person GZ called 911 about when patrolling with his 100 lb Rottweiler that he saw looking into FTs window...

Gets cut off a kabillion times and then last half of the show he says the young man was apprehended two doors down from him a week b4 Trayvon was murdered...
So... sounds like LE apprehended but GZ identified him and he did NOT pursue him and this was the point GZ was trying to get across thru Taaffe

Exactly.. seemed like he was trying to drive the point home but he STILL revealed GZ was on patrol with his 9mm! :jail:

This was in the police reports. Someone probably downloaded them somewhere...

The police reports stated that there was NO burglary and NO sign of any kind of attempted break in, and that when they arrived there was NO person anywhere that matched the description called in to LE. There was never a suspect of any kind identified. NO clue what Taffe is saying as I am not watching, but whatever it is, it is not true. There was and IS no AA youth living in the complex that was suspected of or accused of that NON event.

He is not a good speaker but saying that GZ is not after all black kids but suspicious of some. Is not bad.

He should be saying about the good things GZ had done for some black people, and likes some of the kids in the neighborhood. But he does not know how to do it right at all. He is a bad speaker.

He is trying to help GZ - he is not getting a penny for it, and it takes guts to speak out n behalf of GZ right now. The media with a few marching bands fueled some threats and this guy Taafe is standing up for him. IT takes guts.

Where is the proof that all the robberies were committed by young black men?

As I recall, one of the suspects apprehended by police (NOT GZ) was a white male.

I thought i read that when GZ saw the supposed break-in at FT house when the SPD showed up they did NOT find anyone:waitasec: So now FT claims it was a neighbor????????/So if they did find out who it was then why did GZ suspect TM might be responsible.....Color me confused!!! If Frank T. had knowledge of George Z. patroling the neighborhood with a loaded gun, wouldn't you think he would have an obligation to tell the HOA that? It may not be a legal obligation, but surely a moral obligation or ethic obligation? If the HOA knew that George Z. was packing a gun on his rounds, I am sure they would have discouraged it? Or taken him off neighborhood watch? Maybe Frank T., and not his innocent neighbors, should be held financially responsible for what happened?

Every young black man is a possible burglar? Am I understanding you correctly? Because that would be racial profiling. We don't allow that in air travel, where the consequences are more severe. If GZ had been a police officer, racial profiling might be acceptable but it isn't from a civilian. Anywhere, anytime, for any reason.

Also, as I posted earlier, GZ saw TM from the moment he entered the complex. Until the altercation, TM had done nothing that would be evidence of committing a crime.
