Why didn't TM go bang on some houses if there was a guy following him with a gun?

Maybe he worried no one would let a teenage boy wearing a hoodie into their house?

It's been stated by the law that they don't know where George Zimmerman is. What happens if they need to talk to him?

Link? I've only seen them say they know where he is.

At this point, GZ acted in self defense but that could change.

How would you know this is not true? Who know what the father might have said after being told his son was dead. One does not act as though nothing happened upon hearing these words, your son has been killed. I know, I've been there.

Hug from me to Isabelle.

I was just about to post something similar, but wimped out. But thanks to your courage, I will add that these attacks on TM's parents make me sick. Although, as the parent of a murdered child, I'm not surprised--when I wasn't crying, I was accused of being cold, when I was crying, I was labeled hysterical. Some people just can't be allowed to have feelings.

Shameful.
imo

trayvon's school suspension is entirely relevant and the fact that it's even being discussed here is pathetic. i don't recall ever hearing his parents claim the boy was perfect. however, he was no less human than any other and the fact that his killer treated him as less than that is no excuse for him to be smeared in death. especially here.

imo, moo etc. etc.

Not true, it's been played up nonstop that he was squeaky clean with no arrests. That's a half truth at best. TM was the instigator of the fight "imo". He was evidently beating the stuffing out of GZ and witnesses and police reports confirm or at least corroborate that.

I am shocked at the level of anger toward a murder victim and his family here

why is it necessary? Trayvon's suspensions, his hoodie, whether he had smoked marijuana before, are irrelavant to being murdered by an over zealous neighborhood watch person who was following him after being told not to by 911 dispatch

Again, does not answer my question. Why didn't Trayvon just go home, where he was supposedly headed?

Do you see how close the shooting was to his home? He was obviously making his way there. Let me see...Do you know if the incident occurred closer to Trayvon's home or GZ's vehicle?

There's nothing to indicate he was not heading home.

Because everyone's a racist? This hoodie thing is just getting old imo

Well, he wasn't shot because he was suspended, he was slamming a guy's head on a sidewalk.

There is no proof of that!!

If some stranger were following you at night for no apparent reason wouldn't you think that he was going to mug you or something, TM was probably fearful for his life and he should have been because he's DEAD!

It looks like some kind of id badge. Look at the top, you'll see a slot to attach a lanyard.

Is the one supposed to be a yearbook picture? It's been a while since high school, but from what I recall, yearbooks didn't come out until the end of the school year.

I think people are more upset at the fact that his "squeaky clean image" ain't so squeaky clean like the family wants to portray and GZ is this bad guy who shot innocent TM to death.

Here's a bit of information that might help.

"While in life Trayvon Martin was barely 17, when it comes to justifiable homicide his size -- about 6-foot-3 and 150 pounds -- makes him an adult in death."

Until there's an arrest and Zimmerman is convicted, the case is just that, justifiable homicide.

Link

So if he were 4-foot-10 and 120 pounds @ just 17 he'd be considered a child even though they both would think the same and have the same life experiences and pretty much react the same? Seems a little unbalanced doesn't it when a 17 year old can't pack a gun.....legally that is. jmo

Just this morning posters were calling hoodies 🤬🤬🤬🤬 costumes. Old or not, still going on.

No poster has said that just a hoodie means anything. If they have, please cite it. Otherwise, stop misrepresenting statements please.

Why didn't TM go bang on some houses if there was a guy following him with a gun?

Why didn't George Zimmerman stay in his car if he observed a suspicious person engaging in suspicious activity?

Nancy Grace finally covering Trayvon!

She knows, I know, and the hundreds of thousands of people who signed petitions and are going to rallies know, that if the police had rolled up on the scene where it was not a black teenager that they already suspected of being a junkie 🤬🤬🤬🤬, because that is what Zimmerman reported in his call, that Zimmerman WOULD have been drug and alcohol tested, that his clothes WOULD have been collected, and that when the girlfriend's parents reached out to the police to tell them that she was on the phone with TM at the time of the incident, she WOULD have been interviewed.

It is disingenuous at best to suggest that there was a full and thorough investigation of this incident, and yet until the media storm, as far as Sanford PD was concerned it was done...over, they were not going to revisit it or do anything else.

Sanford PD seriously stepped in it, they made a snap judgement that they really didn't have to investigate, and now they are in CYA mode....IMO

No, you not know that, it's a bandwagon people have created and jumped on. It's presumptuous and baseless imo. I'd like to know how anyone " knows" what cops would have done in a different situation.

Do you realize that you're saying the police on the scene are such horrible people and committed racists that they looked at Trayvon and more or less said - "Meh, who cares. Black kid. 🤬🤬🤬🤬. Doesn't matter. We could arrest this GZ for murder, but we approve of what he did."

That is such an extreme accusation to make without any info on the individual officers it's mind boggling.
